Youโ€™re welcome to use Emla if youโ€™d like, but please be aware that it doesnโ€™t guarantee a completely โ€œpain-freeโ€ experience.

๐Ÿ’ซ We can apply it in-clinic for an additional ยฃ5 on top of your treatment cost. If you choose this option, please book an extra 30 minutes onto your appointment time to allow the cream to take effect.

Alternatively, you can purchase it yourself and apply it at home 30 minutes before your appointment, just make sure to cover the area with cling film to keep it in place.

๐Ÿค Emla can help reduce the sensation of tattoo removal but not everyone finds numbing cream necessary! We always pre-cool the skin with our medical grade cryo cooler, which helps desensitise the area before, during, and after treatment providing a stronger numbing effect for most clients!

โœจ WHAT TO EXPECT AFTER TATTOO REMOVAL โœจ

Itโ€™s completely normal for your skin to react in different ways after a laser session. Everyoneโ€™s skin, immune system and tattoo ink respond differently, so your healing might not look the same as someone elseโ€™s!

Here are some common and normal responses you might notice:

โ€ข Frosting: A temporary cloudy whitening that fades quickly after treatment.
โ€ข Blisters: They might look unsightly but they are normal! They will flatten on their own so avoid popping them. New pink skin underneath is part of the natural healing process. Protect the area from the sun, keep it covered if it may catch on clothing and keep it clean and dry.
โ€ข Redness and swelling: This is your skinโ€™s natural inflammatory response.
โ€ข Pinprick bleeding: Tiny spots where the laser reaches deeper ink. If it bleeds through, it will scab so avoid picking it.
โ€ข Itching: A sign of healing, so resist the urge to scratch.
โ€ข Bruising: A natural skin response to the energy delivered during treatment and it fades on its own.

๐Ÿ’ก Aftercare Tips:

โ„๏ธ Cool the area after treatment
๐ŸŒฟ Apply pure aloe vera gel (avoid creams)
