Night shift completed ✅

Nice to have a client so close by to the sea 🌊 — it makes such a difference.

That short walk along the coast after a long shift is the perfect way to wake up properly.

Fresh sea air, the sound of the waves rolling in, and nature slowly coming to life as the sun rises 🌅🐦

There’s something about being by the water that clears the mind and resets the body after a busy night. Peaceful, grounding, and a reminder of how lucky I am to work in such a beautiful spot.

Grateful for the work, the views, and those quiet early morning moments before the rest of the world gets going 🙏

First full day of blue skies and sunshine and what a difference it makes! ☀️💙 What an absolute joy to be out working in it.

Another busy one today — I cleared the entire driveway, both sides and right down the middle, and cut back part of the large overhanging tree.

✂️ It’s completely opened the space up. The drive now looks wider, bigger and so much cleaner, with a smooth and easy run all the way up.

It’s always satisfying stepping back and seeing that proper transformation from overgrown to sharp and tidy. 💪

And what makes it even better? A lovely cup of coffee ☕ and a slice of coffee cake 🍰 — went down perfectly after all that graft!

Plus, I had the joy of several robins popping by, enjoying their feast on the freshly uncovered worms as I cleared the way. 🐦 Nature’s little helpers keeping me company again!

Now time to rest before my night shift tonight 😅🌙 Another long one ahead, but wouldn’t have it any other way!

Nice busy day today — just how I like it 💪
Something a little different on this one. We build everything completely from scratch, precision cut and accurate finish every time 🖥️🔨 No flat-pack here — every panel measured, machined and crafted exactly to spec.

Worktops changed over to the client’s requirements and new overhead units started from raw board right through to assembly. From cutting, to building the carcasses, fitting trims, hinges and openings, then bringing it all together on site — it’s amazing watching it go from a sheet of material to a fully installed, custom-built unit 🙌✨

Proper craftsmanship backed by modern precision. Start to finish, built not bought.
Another solid, productive day doing what I love 💯

Time to finally sit down and enjoy a strong cup of tea ☕ — and I’ll admit, I’m actually feeling tired today… which makes a change! 😅 But tired or not, it never stops me doing what I love most.

Night shift ✔️
School run ✔️
Straight on to the first client —💪

And what a surprise… that big yellow thing in the sky decided to make an appearance! ☀️ Even on a dry day I still somehow end up soaked — today’s power washing session saw to that! The steps are now completely transformed, all the green washed away, leaves cleared, and everything looking fresh and safe again.

There’s something so satisfying about seeing the difference hard work makes.
Had a lovely little visit from two robins playing nearby 🐦 — always makes the job that bit more special when nature joins you.

Then it was on to my next client for care and companionship ❤️ A lovely chat, a well-earned cuppa, beds stripped and remade (you just can’t beat the smell of fresh sheets!), and of course those hospital corners done properly 👌 It’s moments like these that remind me how much I value the variety in what I do — from outdoor graft to meaningful conversations and making someone’s home feel comfortable again.

School pick-up done 🚗

Now it’s finally time to slow down and recharge.
Feeling grateful, even on the tired days 🙏

Another beautifully busy day as always. Absolutely loved the classic English rain today — being soaked through to the skin feels like it’s becoming a new trademark look and very much the norm now 😄🌧️ But that didn’t stop progress one bit.

This area is now finished off nicely, with the edging in place layed the slabs,and turf. Once it all takes and starts growing, it’s going to look fantastic. And let’s be honest, one bonus of all this rain… no watering needed 💧👌

Also spotted these gorgeous snowdrops tucked away in the garden — such a simple reminder that spring is slowly on its way 🤍🌼

Now it’s time to rest up before heading into the night shift again. Grateful, tired, and still smiling.

Rain or shine, it’s been a truly lovely day 🌦️☀️
A real bonus moment was being treated to a glorious double rainbow 🌈🌈 — one of those gentle reminders to slow down and appreciate the beauty around us.

As if that wasn’t enough, my little mate the robin popped by 🐦 — always a joy to see and a perfect end to the day.

Another busy and rewarding day with two amazing clients and two completely different jobs, which is exactly what I love about what I do. The variety keeps things fresh, interesting, and deeply fulfilling — not just in the work itself, but in what I’m able to offer each person.

Feeling incredibly grateful and blessed to have such wonderful clients who truly make every day worthwhile 💚

Now it’s time to rest and recharge before the night shift tonight 😴💪

Something a bit different on the job today — not the kitchens this time, but still at the same place. Today was all about making space and getting the insulation work underway.

The metal sheets were a serious challenge to move solo… but who needs the gym when you’ve got a beast like that to wrestle with? 💪😅 Hard graft, plenty of effort, and very satisfying once it was done.

Finished off with a good tidy up, leaving everything organised, cleaner, and ready for the next stage. Productive days like this really do hit different 🙌✨

One of those days where I was so caught up in the moment that I completely forgot to take any photos 📸

A lovely, busy and really productive day working with two amazing clients, each with completely different jobs in hand. I always enjoy the variety and the chance to switch gears — no two days are ever the same, and that’s one of the things I love most about what I do.

As I was finishing up at my second client’s, I took a moment to glance out of the window and was treated to a little bit of nature’s entertainment 🐿️. A squirrel busily collecting leaves and darting back up the tree, completely focused on its mission — simple things like that really make you pause and smile.
Days like today remind me why I enjoy working outdoors and meeting such wonderful people along the way.
