When you make space to cultivate creative friendships - magical@things happen. A group of my talented, funny, multi interested friends meet monthly online and together in my studio to explore art making. We take it in turns to ‘host’ the sessions and they can be anything! This month we have been creating worlds and exploring 3D and light. Here are some images of our universe. We even have Major Business in his rocket but I forgot to get a good photo of him.

Our gang is called Art Cult - I warmly invite you to gather your own gang together and muck about like we do. If you are an artist, particularly one who has to hustle and make money from your work - then getting together with your creative mates to make art that has no other purpose than joy and delight is essential. It will feed your work, free your imagination and your artist heart.

I adore the 4 women in my little Art Gang. We made magic last night, if you pass by my studio after dark, peek in the windows and see if you can spot Major Business!

The World Book Day window at St Peter’s Hospice is fab and my little A Frame is looking perky too! Here be me outside the shop being a poseur! I’ve lost a button on my mac. Shhh!

It’s been a while since I was asked to do an AFrame for but I loved creating this for World Book Day Thursday 5th March! The shop will be full of parents running about trying to find elements for a costume and we will have fun trying to come up with solutions! Think frilly shirts and daft hats!

I am not an illustrator but I m delighted with the little Mouse drawing from the wonderful Gruffalo!

Still pottering along. Still out and abouting with my bestie Podge. Still running Art Club and gathering my arty pals together for fun and creativity. Happy Freaking New Year my friends. Go gently, with kindness and empathy. Be mindful of the impact of your words and deeds. You matter. What you think, say and do matters.

I’ve made no resolutions. The word I have chosen is not designed to drive me forward with ambition and grit. This year’s word is RELISH. My plan is to enjoy it all.

You will find me printing, sewing, cooking, walking, yogaing, laughing and mucking abouting.

Wear the thing, kiss the cutie, hug the pal, call your mum!

Yoo hoo! Up north, visiting twixmass. I’m ready for a massive detox. If I see another mince pie it will be too soon… don’t mistake me - I’m still gonna eat that sucker!

Oof… I am running on carbs and crap TV at this stage of the proceedings.

Anyone else up for the full fast/juice/veganuary/booze free/yoga with Adrienne reboot next week?

F**k me - I need a month at juicy oasis.

Heading back tomorrow… if you see me with rope tied around my middle, just look away my friend look away.

Winter trees are gorgeous just now. The London Planes even have their own baubles.

I’m thinking of making a print layering tree silhouettes for a wintery vibe.

I won’t be back in my studio until after the New Year but it’s a rare first crack with an actual idea - so maybe 2026 is already shaping up to be creatively productive.

Green has been getting up to all sorts. At one point we thought we’d lost him, but it turns out, little alien, green blobs are built different… most recently he has developed a worrying megalomania complex and we found him plotting world domination in the study!

Since then he has disappeared and we aren’t sure where he is.

Podge called the authorities - I wanted him that was risky. I think the FBI have swooped in and he is currently incommunicado in a black site.

Mind you - Green loves all that espionage malarkey so he will be delighted with himself.

Green is still up to high jinx in our hutch. Yesterday we found him saddled up on the soapstone lion.

Found Green in a pickle yesterday. Apparently he’s helping with the Christmas lights…

Green has been allowed to play Elf on the shelf this year. Today he made himself a pair of antlers and disguised himself to join the herd! The tree and the lights went up this afternoon, so goodness knows what he will get up to tomorrow.
