As the days get darker and the weather gets colder I'm planning the tours for next year.

There will be several cemetery tours across Nottinghamshire, an English Civil War Tour of the castle area and a walk in partnership with Nottinghamshire Heritage Walks Facebook group.

To remember all those who served Hucknall and to celebrate Hucknall Libraries' new digital scanner, I'm going through the Dispatch Newspaper, looking at the old pictures.
Here are a few I have found from 1943-1944.

I'm designing a tour around the Standard Hill area of Nottingham. Not only is the area where the English Civil War began it's also home to some the greatest medical minds in Nottingham history.

I've been out exploring Nottingham's Standard Hill area this morning, snapping photos for an upcoming tour. The stunning house at the top of the park stairs is undoubtedly the area's most photographed spot.
