Introducing a new, monthly, small group session - 'Mindfulness with Horses'.
Sitting mindfully with horses can be profoundly beneficial because it brings together nervous system regulation, deep presence, emotional attunement and co-regulation in a way that is both simple and powerful.
Horses naturally live in a state of embodied presence. When you slow your breath, soften your body, and rest in awareness beside them, your nervous system begins to entrain with their steady rhythms. This can:
Reduce stress hormones
Lower heart rate and blood pressure
Shift the body out of fight/flight and into rest/digest
Create a felt sense of safety and grounding
Deepening presence & embodiment
Horses anchor us firmly in the present moment. Sitting mindfully with them draws awareness into:
Breath
Body sensations
Subtle emotional shifts
Energetic awareness
This helps people move out of overthinking and into embodied awareness, which is essential for emotional healing and integration.

Horses have large, powerful electromagnetic heart fields. When sitting calmly near them, human heart rhythms can begin to synchronise with the horse’s, creating:
