Most women don’t come to me because they ‘just want a treatment.’

They come because they’re juggling so much, their sleep is effected, their skin feels dull. Hormones are unpredictable, and they feel like a shadow of themselves.

A lovely lady came to see me, struggling with hormonal issues.

Each month around her cycle, she was struggling with her mood- feeling angry & irritable.

We did her a Zone face lift facial & hormonal balance reflexology, working gently & intentionally through the reflex points on both the face & feet to support the 1st signs of ageing, calm the nervous system, hormone balance & ease the stress & tension she’d been carrying.

She said : I noticed a massive shift in my mood, I’d been feeling increasingly angry- intense rage & I haven’t had that since reflexology.

Hormones don’t just affect your cycle, they can affect mood, stress, energy, digestion, sleep & even how you show up.

Something I don’t talk about enough!

Facial reflexology isn’t just about glowing skin, its about giving your nervous system permission to exhale.

For the women who are holding so much, work, family life, the home, ageing parents, hormonal shifts & the invisible mental load of all of it!
And
It shows up in the shoulders, the neck, the jaw, the forehead and yes, in the skin too.

Facial reflexology, is a gentle and intentional therapy working the reflex points on the face, that correspond to the body parts & systems, helping to:
- Calm the stress hormones.
- Support better sleep.
- Ease away tension.
- Boost circulation for that natural glow.

But what I don’t talk about often enough, is how it feels to lie comfortably & not be needed for an hour.
No decisions!
No notifications!
No one asking anything of you!
Just space to be …

And when your body relaxes deeply?

Your jaw relaxes, tension & emotion held in your face are released, your eyes look brighter, the whole face softens & your skin looks brighter, radiant & lifted.

Welcome to my Treatment space ✨

It’s a safe & confidential space, you just need to arrive comfortable & ready to relax.

The firms you fill prior to your session, let me know what’s going on & what your most in need of right now. This allows me to prepare for you.

Some people like to chat & offload, some like to just be & drift into relaxation, some like to sleep.
All of this is ok, This is your time…

I take no notice if you haven’t had a pedi, or you have spiky legs or if you have tummy rumbles during your time - it’s ok!
It tells me your releasing & calming, you’ve come out of fight or flight & you feel safe enough for the nervous system to put you into rest & digest- a calm state, where the body can realign.

If your unsure about what treatments could work best for you, just reach out with any questions, my DM’s are always open

Navigating Hormonal Shifts - support checklist.

Hormonal changes affect more than just your cycle! They can influence sleep, mood, skin, energy levels & stress levels.

Sleep - support a peaceful nights sleep with a calming bed routine, quality rest helps to calm the nervous system:
A cool room
Avoid screen time 2 hours before bed
Limit caffeine in the afternoon/ evenings
Limit alcohol
Magnesium Glycinate helps to calm & promote sleep.

Eat regular & nutritious meals to keep blood sugar levels stable, & to:
Improve symptoms
Improve mood
Support energy levels
Avoid weight gain
Support bones, heart health & healthy ageing.
A Mediterranean diet is recommended.

Hydrate!
Most of us don’t drink enough water, 2l will support:
Skin & tissues
Reduce joint pain
Improve cognitive function (brain fog)
Bladder health
Digestive health

Exercise
Move your body to support you into healthy ageing, rather than deplete your energy.
Weight training to maintain & strengthen muscle mass & bones.

Yoga & Pilates to stretch, gain balance & core strength.

Stress

A client recently asked me how regularly they should come for reflexology?

I told her, most people have a regular monthly session, not because theres anything wrong, but so they can feel lighter, calmer & maintain balance.

Initially, if you have issues you’d like reflexology to support, I may recommend weekly or fortnightly sessions, as reflexology has a cumulative effect - think of it like going to the gym.

You don’t need to wait until your overwhelmed, exhausted or stressed! Regular sessions help you to feel lighter, to feel calmer, feel more aligned and to feel less tense.

It’s a slow intentional session, created to calm the nervous system, restore energy flow and encourage the body to realign & find it’s natural rhythm.
