There was something truly special at Mearns House as one of our Wishing Tree dreams became a reality

Ian’s wish was to visit Deep Sea World, and he chose his friend Donald to share the experience, making the day even more meaningful from the very beginning. The journey itself was filled with conversation, laughter and excitement, with a beautiful scenic drive along the way 🚙✨

At Deep Sea World, Ian and Donald enjoyed exploring the wonders beneath the waves, taking in the incredible marine life. Highlights included the fascinating show and tell session, learning more about the animals up close, followed by the much‑loved seal show, which brought plenty of smiles

Moments like these perfectly capture what our Wishing Tree is all about, creating joy, sharing experiences and making meaningful memories together

When one family’s sister arrived at Greenan Manor following a hospital stay, she was living with delirium and needed kindness, patience, and reassurance. From the very beginning, that’s exactly what she received. Over time, as her needs changed, the team continued to adapt, ensuring she was always supported with dignity, understanding, and warmth.

Greenan Manor itself made a strong impression too. Beautifully appointed en‑suite rooms, peaceful lounges, welcoming dining areas, a cosy café, and a lovely hair salon, a space that feels less like a care home, and much more like a home. 🏠

In her final days, the family shared how exceptional the care was, not only for their loved one, but for them as well. Thoughtful, attentive, and genuinely compassionate, the team ensured comfort, calm, and kindness right through to the very end.

From seeing the animals up close to holding them, the session was filled with big smiles, curiosity and lots of happy chatter. Residents loved learning more about each creature and taking part in the hands‑on experience 🐍🦎

What a brilliant day at Grove Care Home as our Car Boot Sale brought everyone together for sunshine, smiles and some seriously good bargains 💛

From happy chats and browsing tables to lots of laughter along the way, there was a fantastic atmosphere across the home as residents, visitors and colleagues all joined in. The sense of community, and the buzz, was felt all day long

A very special thank you goes to our wonderful colleague Cat, who organised the entire event herself. Her creativity, dedication and enthusiasm made such a difference, and the success of the day is a true reflection of the care and pride she brings to the Grove team 👏🌟

Our residents at Antonine House Care Home enjoyed a truly wonderful day out at Blair Drummond Safari Park, taking in the beautiful surroundings and plenty of animal magic 🌿✨

Norman, Pat, Kathrein and Ruby made the most of the adventure, with so much to see and even more to chat about along the way. From spotting amazing animals to sharing smiles, laughter and memorable moments, it was a day filled with connection and joy

Outings like this give everyone the chance to experience something different, enjoy meaningful time together and create happy memories beyond the home 💛

🦆🐣 BREAKING NEWS FROM LEVEN BEACH: WE HAVE BABIES! 🐣🦆

How fantastic, our eggs have arrived at Leven Beach Care Home, and they didn’t waste any time! We’re absolutely delighted to share that two gorgeous baby ducks have already hatched, and yes, hearts have officially melted.

From the very first wiggle to their tiny cheeps, our residents at Leven Beach have been completely captivated. There’s been constant “oohs”, “aahs” and plenty of exciting updates.

And now? The ducklings are growing by the day and are full of personality. They love diving, paddling and putting on an Olympic‑level performance in their pool, providing non‑stop entertainment and laughter for everyone watching.

These little characters have created such a joyful buzz around the home, sparking conversations, memories and shared moments of pure wonder. Sometimes, it’s the smallest arrivals that make the biggest impact ✨

When a loved one truly settles into life at a care home, you can feel the difference, and one family’s recent carehome.co.uk review captures that perfectly.

Their godmother has been living at Forthland Lodge Care Home for nearly five years, and it’s clear just how much this place means to her, and to those who care about her.

Forthland Lodge has been a constant through some incredibly emotional moments, including the loss of her twin sister. Throughout it all, she has remained well supported, comfortable, and settled, something her family is deeply grateful for.

They shared how reassuring it is to receive regular calls, updates, and friendly welcomes whenever they visit. Whether it’s taking part in activities or heading out for a change of scene, she stays engaged and supported in ways that suit her.

A special mention went to the food too, enjoyed daily and clearly doing its job, with her health and wellbeing closely monitored and cared for. 🍽️

A huge thank you to our local Funeral Director, Barry Whalen, for popping in with these lovely Easter eggs for our residents. The smiles said it all, chocolate and kindness is a winning combination!
