Finally, we (the human race) are at a stage where science is slowly catching up with spirituality and practices that have been used for thousands of years, energy work being just one of them.

If you told me a few years ago that I would be a "reiki practitioner" in the future, I probably would have laughed. I will admit, I was skeptical and never quite believed it. That was until I had my own first reiki experience, and felt heat, tingling, a release of emotion, and saw the most beautiful purple aurora I have ever seen. It stirred up something in me and I just knew that there is so much more to life than our physical bodies. EVERYTHING and everyone around us is energy.

If you are still feeling skeptical, take a look at the "science" highlight on my Instagram page, and read some of the scientific papers that have been published on the effectiveness of reiki. I attended a beautiful reiki share and soundbath yesterday organised by the lovely Pauline and Jenna. Getting together with other reiki practitioners to give and receive reiki was the loveliest way to spend a Saturday afternoon. ✨

What a lot of people don't realise when they book in for a session, is that as well as giving you reiki, I want to get to know YOU. 🫵🏽 I want to understand how your brain works, how you are feeling, what is going on in your life.

It's never just about the energy work. I LOVE taking the time to chat, listen, and understand you on a deeper level. Your experiences, emotions, and intentions all matter, and creating space for open conversation helps me support you in a more meaningful, personalised way. Reiki is a beautiful part of the session, but connection, trust, and understanding are just as important to the healing process.

I have had clients break down in tears. I have had confessions. Moments of joy. Moments of realisation. Moments of release. What is discussed in the reiki room stays in the reiki room but what happens in the reiki room has the power to create real shifts, healing and clarity ✨

Now offering reiki sessions... With your furry best friends! Are you a "pawrent" and would like to share your reiki session with your pet? This can be split any way you like... i.e. half an hour of reiki for you, half an hour for your pet, or 45 mins for you and 15 for your pet, and so on. I also offer stand-alone sessions for pets if this would be of interest for you. Pop me a message ❤️ usual price list applies. All animals welcome- from dogs to reptiles. Horses too 🐴

Is your pet anxious... Out of sorts.... Low on energy? Just like humans, animals have chakras and energy fields and just like us, their energy can be imbalanced too. Emerging scientific studies are confirming that reiki can have a positive impact on animals on a physical and emotional level.

Whilst I was already qualified to do reiki on animals, I thought it would be interesting and beneficial to take a further course and I am delighted to have now completed this. 📚📜

Scientific studies on Reiki for animals show promising results, particularly in stress reduction, with research on rats and horses indicating lower heart rates and stress markers, suggesting that like with humans, it activates the parasympathetic nervous system and can improve anxiety, pain perception, and overall wellbeing.

Our Romanian rescue dog, Mango, is anxious and has some issues which I have been working on with reiki. She responds to it really well and while of course I can't ask her for her feedback, I can feel her nervous system slowly relaxing and she seems to really enjoy the energy.
