We're so sad to hear about Iain. Such a kind, wonderful soul. We were privileged to have him join us for a few bike rides a couple of summers ago.

There have been many justified tributes to Iain who died on Thursday. He was a regular at the Bike Shed Friday open mic nights, contributing his own music and collaborating with others.
A great musician, a gentle man.
He will be missed by us all.

Another lovely afternoon ride yesterday, along the canal to Dochgarroch, with the sky starting to get dark at the end of the ride and a huge moon doing beautiful atmospheric peeping through the clouds on the way back to the Botanics.

After a break last week due to snow and ice we were back this week to ride a new route through Culloden. We tackled the Ashton farm road and a new section which tested the width of Terry's trike! All fun and games and we all warmed up at the cafe in the UHI at the end. Thanks to Inclusive Cycling Experience - Inverness - Cycling UK for lending a trike for this ride.

We had a lovely cycle out along the Merkinch Nature Reserve today- a bit rainy, but not enough to stop us smiling. It was the first rainy Wednesday Social ride of the 41 rides we've done this year so far!

A delightful cycle was had by all as we rode along to Dochgarroch this week via the ever pleasant canal. Some great chat and great encouragement from riders to each other. Autumn is well and truly here 🍂

What a lovely sunny cycle we had this week! We were blessed with the autumn sun beaming down on us as we navigated Inshes Park. Riding down the bends with the view of the hills on the horizon was wonderful 😊 and there was cake 🎂 amazing!

We were so pleased to have gone along to the Highlands & Islands Climate Hub conference today in Inverness. Some really inspiring speakers. It was great to have so many people in one room who care about making a difference towards climate change. ❤️🚲🌱
