STEAM cafe's primary function is to encourage people to talk openly and honestly about mental health and provide support as required.

Your unique safe haven proudly provides you non-judgemental holistic mental health support daily across Suffolk your High Street across Ipswich and Bury St Edmunds. We should no longer be afraid to speak openly about concerns that affect our current and future wellbeing. We choose to purposely place our cafes in prominent areas, which are easy to access within the communities we surround. Whether it is a simple chat with a cuppa or a concern that needs some ongoing support, our fully trained multidisciplinary team can assist. Daily public opening times are between 10am-4pm, this is when you can pop in for a drink and something to eat... and if you've got a question or query just ask a member of our friendly team. Our cafe's operate as social enterprises, which means that any profits made are invested back into the support we provide. Put simply, enjoying a coffee with us means you are potentially helping someone locally seeking support. After 4pm, our venue operates a range of bespoke individual appointments and group services to clients experiencing mental health crisis. Drawing on decades of experience and evidence, holistic person-centred assistance positively enhances the wellbeing of those that need support. We are proud to work alongside primary services in the area and like-minded organisations to support individuals and those around them.
