Arran Medical Group - Telephone Prescription ordering Update

To improve patient safety and reduce the risk of errors, we are updating the process for requesting telephone prescriptions. This change aligns with NHS Ayrshire & Arran guidance, which recommends moving away from phone-based requests due to risks such as miscommunication and medication errors. Full details of the change are provided below.

Regrettably, due to ferry disruptions, we are having to cancel the vaccination clinic planned for tomorrow, Friday 31 October, at the Ormidale Sports Pavilion, Brodick, Isle of Arran. We apologise for any inconvenience this causes.

Our Vaccination Contact Centre staff will begin phoning those with appointments from 8.30am tomorrow to advise of the clinic cancellation, and will then be in touch early next week with details of re-arranged appointments.

Please note, COVID-19 and flu vaccinations will be available through the community pharmacy following the re-arranged clinic date.
