Happy Imbolc.
Imbolc is a a Celtic festival celebrated around February 1st, signifies the first stirrings of spring, marking the halfway point between the Winter Solstice and Spring Equinox, focusing on purification, new beginnings, and the return of light and life. It's strongly associated with the goddess Brigid (fertility, hearth, healing, poetry) and the lambing season, symbolizing hope, renewal, and planting seeds for the year ahead, even as winter's cold persists.
Key Significance & Themes:
Awakening & Renewal: A time when life begins to stir beneath the surface, with lengthening days and early signs of spring like snowdrops, buds, and birdsong.
Brigid's Festival: Honors the Celtic goddess Brigid, associated with fire, inspiration, healing, poetry, and the hearth, a powerful deity for this time of burgeoning life.
Purification & Cleansing: A spiritual and physical "spring cleaning" to clear out old energy, make space for new growth, and set intentions.
Hope & Potential: Casts off winter's dormancy, focusing on hidden potential and the promise of warmer, brighter days to come.
Fertility & New Life: Linked to the pregnancy of ewes (im bolg meaning "in the belly") and the start of the lambing season, representing the earth's fertility.
We have some lovely soundbaths recently. The energy in the rooms after them has been so beautiful. Suzi Staden Pilates was packed out last Friday and it was a pleasure to play in such a beautiful energy.
On the 22nd of this month (in Three weeks’ time) we have a big day at Godmersham.
My good friend Louise is running her first Holistic/Psychic Fair at the hall between 10 and 3 pm. There are some wonderful makers and friends doing lovely stuff there.
I will be doing some 1-1 Sound and Immersion work combined with simple massage (Indian head Massage and Thai Yoga massage) and some energy/reiki work. Slots have begun to be taken already. I am offering 20 minutes for £20 (but recommend 2 slots) It is aimed at unblocking energy in the body (Chakras/meridians) but also to promote deep calm.
Then at 6pm I have the soundbath. I have taken quite a few bookings already for this so please let me know asap if you want a place.

19th April 3.5 Hour Sound Immersion at Godmersham with Cacao Ceremony starting at 3pm . Three players. This is a chance to go deeper and we have done two last year.
