T H E R E W A S a time not that long ago when I couldn’t tell what my body was trying to say.

I’d come through years of IVF, a successful round followed by a pregnancy, then a surprise natural pregnancy…then straight back into work.

I told myself the exhaustion was normal. The brain fog? Probably stress. The restless nights? Just hormones settling down after birth.

Except they never really did.

My concentration was all over the place. My sleep felt broken. Stress was through the roof and I just didn’t feel like me anymore.

Looking back, I can see what was really happening.
My body was recalibrating.

What I’d thought was postnatal depletion and burnout was actually the early whisper of perimenopause.

And that whisper gets missed all the time.
By women. By doctors. By the system that tells us to just ‘cope’.

But when we pause (really pause) and begin to understand the hormonal, neurological and emotional layers of this transition, everything changes.

That’s exactly why I created perimenoPAUSE;
a restorative evening of facial massage, reflexology and gentle education designed to help you reconnect, rebalance and feel more like you again.

🕯 Sunday 23 November, 6–7.30pm
💫 £30 | Book via the link in bio

Because sometimes, the body isn’t asking you to push harder, it’s asking you to listen.

I T S T A R T S Q U I E T L Y . You’re lying awake at 3AM, mind wide awake in a tired body. The things that once came easily such as focus, patience & deep sleep, feel harder to reach.

You wonder if it’s stress, but something deeper is stirring beneath the surface. Sleep feels lighter. Focus flickers. Your mood feels more unpredictable.

And despite knowing how capable you are, you know something’s shifting.

It’s not burnout, or simply stress. Your body is asking for a new kind of attention.

perimenoPAUSE is an intimate evening designed to help you make sense of what’s happening beneath the surface and give you tools to support calm, clarity, and connection again.

Around my kitchen table, six women will gather to:

✨ learn what’s really happening in your body during perimenopause
✨ experience a facial reflexology sequence to ease tension, support sleep + hormones
✨ leave with a simple daily ritual to help you feel more balanced and alive

This transition in life doesn’t have to be about losing yourself, it’s about remembering who you are.

🕯 Sunday 23rd November | 6–7.30pm | £30 | Barton Seagrave, Kettering

Reserve your space via the link in bio.

P E R I - M E N O (P A U S E ) - The stage of life where you’re doing everything right and still feel a bit off. And it can feel really disorienting.

Sleep changes, moods dip, energy wavers but you keep on pushing through. But, somewhere inside you know it’s time to slow down.

That’s exactly why I created this evening.

Six women will gather round my kitchen table. A cosy, warm, informal space to make sense of it all and start to breathe again.

We’ll talk honestly about what’s really going on beneath the surface, and you’ll learn the kind of self-care ritual that helps you feel calmer, more grounded and a little more you again.

T H E R E ‘ S A M O M E N T many women reach in their late 30s or 40s when everything starts to feel just a little too loud.

The constant hum of thinking, doing, organising. Lists in your head that never seem to end. Tiredness that doesn’t lift (even after a full night’s sleep if you’re that lucky).

You keep showing up, holding it all, doing what needs to be done, but deep down, you can feel your body asking for something different.

This stage of life, this quiet in-between, isn’t about pushing through. It’s an invitation to pause, soften, and reconnect.

On Sunday 23rd November, I’m gathering six women around my kitchen table for an evening that blends facial massage, reflexology, and hormone-aware self-care
to help you feel grounded, rested, and more at home in your body again.

You’ll learn gentle, powerful techniques you can use every day to:

🌙 support deeper sleep
💆‍♀️ calm your nervous system
🌿 lift, tone and brighten your skin
🩶 and understand what your body’s really asking for in this season of change.

Cosy, informal vibe, natural organic products, real conversation and the kind of evening that leaves you exhaling for the first time in weeks.

🕯 Sunday 23rd November | 6–7:30pm
👭 6 places only
📍 My kitchen table, Barton Seagrave,Kettering

If your body’s been whispering ‘slow down’ lately, this is your sign to listen.

DM me ‘Kitchen Table’ to grab a place on the wait list. Booking opens soon.

Y O U K N O W T H A T feeling when you’re not ill, but you don’t feel fully yourself either?

You wake up in the middle of the night and check your phone and its 3am (again). Your brain feels foggier at that 11am team meeting, your focus starts slipping as your energy falls off a cliff mid-afternoon. Your realise you’re drinking more coffee to power through and emotions feel that little bit closer to the surface.

You’re telling yourself it’s just stress… or the kids… or work… or another busy season.

But what if it’s not just that? What if your body is whispering that something deeper is shifting?

Many women start to feel these subtle changes in their late 30s and 40s, long before periods actually stop. It’s the quiet beginning of perimenopause, a stage that can last years.

Hormones like progesterone, estradiol and testosterone (the same ones that shape mood, focus, energy and sleep) start to dance in new, unpredictable rhythms.

And yet, most of us were never taught this part. We’re told it’s just part of getting older when really, it’s our biology asking for attention and care.

You’re not overreacting or falling apart, you’re actually
evolving and your body’s trying to find its new equilibrium.

Next month, I’m creating space for six women to pause, breathe and understand this stage more deeply, around my kitchen table. Because when you know what’s really going on, everything starts to make sense.

Stayed tuned for more info.

Y O U K N O W those days where the smallest thing tips you over the edge?

Despite being really good at prioritising my wellbeing, I still have days like this because life is FULL & the triggers are many 😆 Yesterday this came in the form of misplaced keys, lost shin pads, a dripping tap and sniffing! 🫣

It’s never really about those things.

It’s really about what’s sitting underneath which is the constant hum of doing, thinking, carrying. Perhaps layered with tiredness (definitely a factor for me after loss of sleep at the weekend).

At some point, the body just whispers, ‘enough’ and shouts out for space. For me, that was an early night last night and rolling out the yoga mat first thing this morning.

The women I see in their late 30s and 40s often tell me they don’t recognise themselves anymore. They’re not broken, they’re depleted. Running on the same energy reserves that used to get them through but don’t anymore.

Because your body, your hormones, your nervous systems are changing. And the strategies that once worked (the lists, the late nights, the endless pushing), start to fall apart quietly, until one day you notice you’re surviving, not living.

And this isn’t failure, it’s actually feedback. Your body is asking you to pause so it can create space, stillness, softness and find it’s new rhythm.

And that’s where the transformation begins.

Next month, I’m creating that space for six women to press pause, breathe, and come back to themselves. Because you don’t need to keep holding it all together. You just need a moment to exhale and bolster your toolbox with nervous system soothing tricks that help in those moments.

Sound like what you need? Stay tuned for details.

27/10/2025

A S I S A T down earlier, late in the afternoon with my cuppa, I saw the post I shared on my stories pop-up about ‘the mental load’. It was ironic, as I sat there diary open, reviewing my weekly to do lists as I sipped my tea.

I have one for ‘life’ and one for ‘work’ and as quick as something (joyously) gets crossed off, something else is added. It’s an perpetual double page brain dump.

This system works for me because holding it all in my head is simply not the reliable method it was 15 years ago.

But that said, I’m not gonna lie, the invisible weight of keeping everything going still feels exhausting - do you feel it too?

Home, work, family, kids clubs, emotions. It’s the list that would perpetually swim around in my mind unless I dumped it on those pages, taking up far too much space and clouding my ability to think clearly.

What I started to notice over 10 years ago was that by trying to hold it all so tightly, meant that slowing down almost began to feel dangerous; like I thought the house of cards would cave in if I did.

I see these patterns building in many of my new clients in their late 30s/40s, but the huge positive is they’ve taken that first step. They all understand that pausing and investing in themselves had become a non-negotiable because what used to ‘work’ to keep them balanced now, quite simply, doesn’t.

I know it can feel disorienting. Like you’re living in a body that’s rewriting the rules overnight. But this stage of life isn’t asking you to push harder. It’s asking you to pause. And pausing doesn’t have to lead an unravelling. In fact it’s a beautiful way of building resilience for the road ahead.

I’m creating space next month for 6 women who are ready press the pause button, reconnect with themselves, and have tools at their fingertips to rewrite the script.

This next season of life doesn’t have to be about losing yourself, it can be the beginning of coming home.

Stay tuned!

I F Y O U R W E E K ‘ S been messy too… maybe it’s time to slow down together.

I had all my intentions set - to share more here and get everything ready for my Sunday Slowdowns.

But life (again) had other ideas.

I’ve been solo parenting, had competitions, new clubs and other challenges thrown into the mix on top of the usual juggle of work and life (and I came on my period right in the middle of it all 🙃).

I’ve felt tired, quite emotional, stretched and yet, somewhere underneath it all, I felt my little inner guide continuing to tell me to soften and not push harder.

I’ve really leaned into my wellbeing practices this week and what my body has been asking for. Nourishing food, rest and sleep (that’s included 😴 on the sofa ahead of bedtime!), daily movement and stillness.

And this is exactly what Sunday Slowdowns are about.

They’re not for perfect weeks or perfectly planned lives.
They’re for the moments when you’ve given so much that you forget what it feels like to be in your own body.

They’re a space to exhale, pause and come back to yourself before the week begins again. A guided hour online once a month to reconnect, reset, and breathe before a new week begins (& replay again if you need that time again).

Our first one is this weekend.

For me, it’s in these small, quiet moments that I start to feel like me again and my wish is for you to enjoy these moments too 🙏

☺️ Join the 6-month Sunday Slowdown Journey (2-week replays after every session whether you join live or not
and 2 sessions out of the 6 free with a session pack).

☺️ Or drop in for this Sunday (£12, with a 1-week replay).

You don’t need to show up perfect, just show up as you are. Camera off is fine.

We’ll slow down together 🌿
