The 1st February and a turn in the Wheel of the Year - Imbolc, also known as Brigid's Day. This is one of the 4 fire festivals and the midpoint between Winter Solstice and Spring Equinox. It is also a Full Moon in Leo, the last couple of weeks of the Year of the Snake and for me personally, the end of a 3 month Light Codex journey I have been doing my fabulous teacher Sara Estelle Turner. We have worked with a variety of flower and channelled essences to take us on a beautifully introspective journey. I have been fairly quiet on social media but have needed that time to release and refocus.
My Reiki teaching and holistic work continues and I am so looking forward to the event I am co-facilitating with lovely Emma, on Sunday 15th February to welcome in the Year of the Horse. I feel there is a lot to come this year and I'll be updating you as things unfurl, but for now I wish you a peaceful Sunday evening - moon water creation and crystal charging time if you are so drawn ✨️💜✨️

Starting New Years Eve with a frosty walk, spending time with friends last night and a hike up Sugar Loaf in beautiful Monmouthshire to start the New Year ✨️. I'm still feeling pretty quiet, not wanting to rush myself or set lots of intentions as yet. In Chinese Astrology, the year of the Fire Horse starts on 17th February, so if you still feel quite still and focused on self care, then listen to yourself and what your body needs 💜. Tomorrow does mark my return to healthy eating and regular exercise after the festive celebrations, it's time to work on feeling strong again 💪. Do whatever feels right for you in this time! My Story

I’m Esta at Aurorashine and my passion is supporting women who are seeking life changes and transformation to help them fully shine. A few years ago though, I was in a very different place to the one I am now - insecure, uncertain, fearful, guilty, afraid of my inner light and of being ‘too much’. I was in a soul destroying job and a relationship that caused me much emotional turmoil. I was seeking change, but didn’t know how to change or exactly what I wanted to become. Then along came flower essences and my journey of transformation truly began. Over these last few years I have learned to release and walk away from what no longer makes me happy - jobs, people, situations. I have also learned to let go of difficult emotions, old ways of being, feelings of dis-empowerment and what is no longer needed in my life. I am not afraid to stand in my power and to shine my light out to others, there is no need to dim to fit in, that’s not what we are here for. The world so needs empowered women who are willing to stand up and shine and yes it takes courage and a process of healing to get there, but get there you can. The words I would now use to describe myself are - confident, brave, empowered, kind, self-nurturing, playful and happy. So different to the person I was.
