I get it, Wellbeing Coaching sounds vague so I've chosen just 4 benefits to showcase.

1. Reduces stress and anxiety by helping you find ways to manage stressful or anxiety inducing situations and by giving you small (or big) things you can do in your day to help you stay calm and grounded.

2. A positive mindset helps us achieve our goals - turning those 'what if it goes wrong' thoughts into 'what if it goes right' thoughts.

3. When you know you have the tools as your disposal to manage challenging situations, you'll feel more confident. Imagine the feeling when you get through something you found hard!

4. Healthy habits don't have to mean green smoothies and meditating for 3 hours a day. My approaching to Wellbeing Coaching is all about the small, but meaningful, things you can do to improve your general sense of wellness and happiness. I'll help you explore them and fit them in.

If you're feeling a bit 'meh' and would like to explore how you can feel more 'yeah' pop a comment or a message.

We took 14 and 11 out today but I still managed to squeeze in some self care by taking my kindle with me and having a read while they explored the indoor adventure area.

I also got great joy from seeing the birds in the falconry area with Mr 14 and treasured this time of connection over a shared interest.

My cup is full but I didn't need to do anything complicated and didn't need to set aside any time specifically - the key is recognising when something seemingly mundane, like reading, is actually self care.

Get in touch if you would like to learn how to recognise what is already filling your cup.

The end of the week and I am looking back at the good things from the week.

🐈 My cat has come for cuddles every day this week.

🌅 There has been some sun this week which means lovely sunsets.

🌸 Flowers.

🏵 More flowers.

🍩 Pudding! My daughter made this one and it is divine!

🍅 Snacky plates for lunch with a bit of whatever takes my fancy.

Finding the good, or the glimmers, in each day or week can really help us feel grateful and have a positive effect on our wellbeing.

What glimmers have you noticed this week?

I'm loving the lighter evenings because it gives me more opportunities to get outside, enjoy being in nature and the fresh air and walking is one of my favourite ways to move my body.

Getting outside gives us so many health and wellbeing benefits and you don't need any special equipment or knowledge to pop for a quick walk and notice the signs of spring.

Exercise and mindfulness all at once? Don't mind if I do!

If you'd like to do more self care but not sure where to start, get in touch or comment below!

Confession time!

I can find a seated, silent mindfulness quite tricky, my mind is whirring and it can be really hard for me to bring myself back to the present.

There is nothing wrong with finding other ways to be mindful - creative activities like knitting, crochet, drawing, sewing or colouring are all great for keeping us focused on the now. I find knitting a simple scarf can be really helpful and I get a new cozy item to wear too!

If that doesn't float your boat, a walk or having some calm instrumental music or even a guided meditation from an app can all be helpful.

And remember - its a practice so some days will be easier than others and you will find things easier as time goes on.

Its already Feel Good Friday time and this week is a big one!

I'm on a retreat! I've never been on a weekend retreat before and I've not been away for a whole weekend without my husband and children for YEARS!

This week I have been nervous and the 'what ifs' have been strong so I have been working hard to reframe them into positives.

Now I'm here I am looking forward to meeting everyone.

Enjoy your Friday!

I love learning and as a Coach, updating my knowledge and skills is super important.

I really enjoyed this course with as it allowed me to deepen my own mindfulness practice while also learning how to support clients to understand how mindfulness can be used to manage stress, anxiety and overwhelm.

Feel Good Friday!

How fast are these weeks going?!

This week there have been a few lovely things, despite the not so lovely weather.

🌷 My husband bought me some lovely flowers - love tulips!

🥗 I made a delicious salad for lunch today - rocket, tabbouleh, coleslaw, chicken, avo, tomato and cucumber.

🍫 My daughter made Biscoff tiffin yesterday and it is amazing!

😊 I opened bookings for my first wellbeing workshops for teens. There are still some spaces available so get in touch to book. This one is for home educated teens but keep your eyes peeled for workshops for teens who are in school!

What have been your highlights this week?
