Every January we see a similar trend 📉

The festive period is a time for us to park our exercise goals. When January 1st hits us, we realise that we haven’t stepped foot inside a gym for weeks.

The rush of panic forces us to play catch up, making up for lost time.

We are guilty of setting ourselves unrealistic targets with unrealistic time frames to bring our “old self” back in to the new year.

The result is sadly one that could have been avoidable.

Who we are and what we do

Flex Health is a Physiotherapy and health centre located at Hull University and York St John Universities. We have a large team all whom work with their own style and bring their own experiences. We specialise in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy.

We focus on offering an intensive client centered approach that aims to reduce a client’s rehabilitation time using intensive rehabilitation. Flex Health provides one-on-one sessions to all its clients. The continuity through a clients rehabilitation helps with compliance and ensures the client returns in a better physical & mental state than pre injury. The overall driving force behind Flex Health is to have a clinical practice where the client has the physical confidence to return to their function in the quickest rehabilitation time possible. We strive to create a friendly environment where the client feels comfortable and safe.

The awareness and influence of Physiotherapy within modern day life is increasing and its prevalence is now becoming commonplace. Flex Health aims to give every client from any age the exposure to Physiotherapy support. Flex Health aims to maximise a clients physical qualities tailored around their individual needs as identified through subjective and objective testing procedures.

Currently, we combine our Physiotherapy expertise and cutting edge technology such as anti-gravity technology, squid ice and compression units, Compex muscle stimulation, functional electrical stimulation (FES) and a bespoke rehabilitation gym. We aim to offer the same process in partnership with York St John.
