Today I was back at FPS Fitness in Birmingham delivering their 3 yearly EFAW course.

Had a bit of a surprise when I went to the loo whilst teaching a course last week!
Sat down to look up and see myself staring back at me 👀😂

And yes, I did go back in with my phone later on to take a photo!!🤦‍♀️😄

It’s been lovely today being back at Amblecote Community Church!

I did this course 3 years ago where several local groups got together to fill a course - and today was no different. ⛑️

Organised by the wonderful Maz, we had staff from Brierley Hill Baby Bank, Brierley Hill Project, Amblecote Community Church & Little Acorns Playgroup.

We had a lot of laughs, plenty of cups of tea, but more importantly refreshed everyone’s first aid knowledge.

It was great to see you all again and to support the wonderful local organisations!! 😍

I haven’t attended a Conference for a couple of years and as there have been a few updates & changes lately I thought it was a good idea! 😄⛑️

I always aim to be continually learning myself and equally, I always want to be teaching my learners the most up to date, accurate information.

Today’s lectures include - the new Resuscitation Council guidelines, encouraging the “Bra Off, Defib On” campaigns message, the Paediatric Assessment Triangle, Fatal Fractures & a Defib Masterclass amongst others! 👏
