It’s been a bit of a Rugby Fest lately, course wise!! 😄🏉

I can’t quite believe it but my little business is 10 years old this month!!! 🎂

I didn’t start keeping data for a while but in that time I’ve taught nearly 650 courses and taught almost 4000 people!! 😱

Not bad considering I mainly lead courses for small numbers of people and I only teach 2 or 3 courses a week - the whole point of starting my own business was that it would be ‘part time’. ⛑️😃

I have been very lucky to work with some truly lovely businesses, charities, community / sports clubs, organisations and of course, just the nicest people ever!😍

Skylark has grown more than I could ever have hoped! So much so that I now have to enlist the help of other wonderful Trainers to ensure I meet the demand!!

Thank you to all my friends and family who have supported me over the past decade, and to everyone who has recommended me to others! It’s very much appreciated!

Here’s to the next 10 years!!! 🥂🍾

I’ve seen this going around on Facebook again recently & it’s something I end up discussing on a lot of my courses as people believe this rubbish.
There is no evidence at all to show that coughing, if you think you’re having a heart attack, will save your life……

Incorrect social media posts claiming coughing really hard can help a heart attack are circulating online again.

Thoroughly enjoyed being back at Holden’s Brewery today. 🍺

Holdens are one of my oldest clients - I’ve been going to the Brewery itself and a number of the pubs for years now and they’re always a great bunch!! 🍻

Today I had brewery staff and staff from the Rose & Crown in Brierley Hill, Ye Olde Robin Hood in Ironbridge & The New Inn in Bliston.

Then of course I ended up spending some of the money I had earned in the shop afterwards!! 😄🤦‍♀️

I often get enquiries about Mental Health First Aid as well as the physical side of First Aid, and I always recommend the fabulous Stu from Tough Enough To Care.

So it was a pleasure to have Stu return to me this week to update and refresh his First Aid course. ⛑️😊👍

Whilst Mental Health First Aid is our thing, we also know that physical first aid is equally as important.

Which is why Stu has recently attended an Emergency First Aid at Work course at Dudley Kingswinford RFC delivered by the amazing Esther from the equally amazing Skylark First Aid Training ⛑️

We have worked with Skylark now for several years and cannot recommend them highly enough.

Both adults and children are covered, so there is a choice of certificate.
