A spoiling 24 hour escape from messy building sites to reset and recharge. The stunning was magical in all its winter frostiness. Starting with a lunch worthy class in the converted barn by the brilliant .fit.world followed by a gut health talk by the hugely knowledgable .clinic and ending with a perfectly timed meditative sound healing with (I may have taken a nap...) And, believe it or not, I got into that icy pool. Twice 🥶. Thank you 🙏🏻😘🙏🏻 Time to kick start 2025!

It's not often I appear on here - or even post on here - but I thought a little festive cheer was due on these squares. It's been another year of wonderful juggling with client projects, yet another house move, a biggie project starting directly next door to the last project we did and we finally started work on our own (forever?!) home after 18 months of planning hurdles. 2025 is sure to be a brilliantly crazy busy one. Before then, from our Bunny Hall family to yours, wishing you a very merry Christmas. David and Barbara x

We're finally live! Bunny Hall has a shiny new website that showcases a few of our recent projects and outlines the services we offer. Take a peek at bunnyhall.co.uk

We worked with the hugely talented who brought our little vision to life and has made us look far more grown up than we are! Thank you Kate 🙏🏻

Now that the site is live, it's probably about time I get these little squares back up to date... I'm very behind!

This was David and my first full development project together and it was the starting point for Bunny Hall.

Three months of planning with and nine months of building with . From a hoarders horrible mess to the house we got engaged in and the home we brought Willow back to when she was born. Two house projects, a wedding and a toddler later, I'd say it was a success 😊. A little bit chuffed and a whole bit suffering from imposter syndrome!

Thanks to the amazing work of , and for making this article happen.

It’s been a while… There’s been a few temporary house hops, a lot of building work, a lot of boxes to unpack and a few holidays and here we are - our new shiny front door. The project house has become our home after some unexpected house buying twists and turns - and what a house it is! More pics to follow but, for now, I’m rather enjoying this view 🤩

It is with (very) mixed feelings that we are all packed up and leaving the house that kick started Bunny Hall and these little squares. An unexpected opportunity presented itself so we have made the leap and are hoping for the best!

I learnt so much pouring over every detail of this project - it really was a labour of lockdown love and, over the course of the year long build and renovation, became an extremely happy home. David and I got engaged in the house and we brought our baby girl, Willow, home here after she was born. They say that ‘home is where the heart is’ and I’ll certainly be leaving a little bit of mine here. But new, exciting opportunities lie ahead so watch this space… And, in the meantime, we still have our project house to finish! On that note, I need to go and pick some door knobs… 😆

There’s something about this palm tree that seems to bring the blue sky and sunshine 🌴 ☀️ Long may it be that way! The garden was designed around the palm tree - with a raised bed created where we have dug down the entire ground floor. The garden studio has taken shape and the wee patch of grass hopefully softens the more architectural and structured landscaping. Plants and furniture to follow. And then it just needs a BBQ and some rosé!

A treat for a rainy Monday morning. This inspired bespoke unit designed by conceals the fridge. I might have to borrow this idea for a future project - quite the statement piece! 🤩

Plaster time. The top two floors are fully formed and ready for second fix. Meanwhile the team are busy plastering the ground floor. A tour of the top floor and first floor is over on my Stories - excuse the Alisha Keys / footsteps / dog barking sound track! 🤦‍♀️

How best to zone the kitchen, dining area and sitting room? With the whole ground floor being open plan we want there to be a seamless flow between the spaces but also a clear separation of functionality and personality. Using internal partition glazing like this shot will hopefully do the trick. A gorgeous result by

So much progress! Quite a leap forward from our last post… Externally, the roof is on and the loft has been clad in stunning zinc. Internally, the top two floors are nearly all plastered and the ground floor has all its bones in place. It’s from this point forward that the decision making becomes hard and fast… Time to switch my baby brain off and my home making brain back on! 😬
