CSS Care Ltd is expanding, and we’re looking for compassionate, reliable Bank Community Support Workers to join our team across the Lancashire area.

This is an as and when role to start, with the opportunity to move into a permanent position for those who want to grow with us.

What we’re looking for:

A driver with access to a vehicle (essential)

Previous care/support experience (essential)

Someone compassionate, patient, and dedicated

Able to use your initiative and work independently

A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable individuals in the community

In health and social care, people get support for all sorts of things, personal care, shopping, activities, cleaning, you name it.

But sometimes you meet someone who’s only allocated 14 hours a week for personal care and meals… and who absolutely does not want anyone touching anything in their home.

Old school. “A wipe down will do.”

So I said to them:
“Let me make you a deal. I’ll do the deep clean… and you won’t see me again for 6 months.”
DEAL.

Today, two of us spent 5 hours grafting deep cleaning, decluttering, making sure their home is safe, cosy, and hygienic to the best that we could.

19 years of ni****ne aswell

I love getting stuck in. I love stepping out of the office and making changes to someone’s day.

For me, it’s never been about the money.
It’s about the people.
It’s about making sure they’re looked after properly and getting what they deserve.

Happy with today’s results and we’re back tomorrow for round two.
