Well yes, I make custom made halters for horses, ponies, mules and donkeys but this is the first time I have been asked to make halters for model horses 🙃. First of all it was out with the tape measure to take their measurements. I normally work in inches but these were so tiny I worked in centimetres. Also the normal halter rope was too thick so I had to make them from paracord. The halters on the models are to teach children how to correctly put on and tie a halter on a pony. Needless to say they were very fiddly to make and took me three times as long as a normal rope halter to do. 🥹
These were done for a friend. I won`t be taking orders for model horse halters sorry. 🥴

This is an excellent venue that I've not trained at for years, but have previously taken my own horse to as it's brilliant for realistic TREC training out on grass.
There will be a series of 90 minute group sessions featuring a range of mobile TREC obstacles alongside the bridges, ditches and undulating terrain in the Adventure Neighground field.

The skill, trust and partnership of horse and rider will be developed and tested around a course that simulates real-world challenges to go over, under, around or through. Learn how to safely and calmly tackle the obstacles both ridden and on the ground.
Obstacles are fun for horses and riders of all shapes, ages and sizes, and Evie's training style is relaxed, patient and encouraging.
Try a new discipline with your horse - it's great cross-training to break up the schooling routine, helps with de-spooking, improving confidence and general life experience.
There's also the option to go for a hack independently, with map provided by the venue for no additional charge.

Now available on my website is the Mark Taylor Signature 4 Knot Rope Halter. Mark helps those owners who have problems loading their horses into horseboxes or trailers, so by the end of the session the owner is leading them in and out quietly and calmly. His page is Taylors Problem Loaders and here you can see the amazing results he achieves. Having sourced this new firmer rope for Mark, which he is delighted with, we have given the halter his name. When his clients ask where they can purchase the same halter he can just point them to my website and the name. This saves any previous confusion as to what type of 4 knot halter they need to order. The halter is available in either white/red fleck or white/black fleck. A solid black may be available in a couple of weeks. 🙂
