🌙 We’re hiring Waking Night Homecare Assistants!

We’re looking for compassionate and reliable people to provide personalised overnight care and companionship to adults in their own homes.

At Westmorland Homecare, we go above and beyond — offering great benefits, career progression, regular staff events, and a supportive team environment.

Your role will be varied from night to night from helping people get ready for bed, and supporting them to feel safe, and then helping them get up, washed, and dressed in a morning, to administering medication, and companionship. 🤝

🚗 Must be a driver, have a right to work in the UK and live within a commutable distance.

Our Story

Westmorland Homecare was founded in 2017 by Doctors Josh Macaulay and Chris Moss. They had experience of caring for people in their NHS roles as an A&E doctor and Anaesthetist as well as family experience but wanted to help people more than just whilst in hospital.

Going into hospital can be a scary experience for anyone and the feeling of getting back home is like no other. As they say, there’s no place like home. We saw people come into hospital after having poor care at home and saw people who couldn’t return to their own homes because the right support wasn’t available for them. This was when Westmorland Homecare was born.

Our service was founded in the lake district and has now grown to cover Cumbria and Lancashire.

We believe that no longer should people be forced into care homes and nursing homes, no longer should people suffer ill health and poor quality of life. Every individual should be free to remain in their home as long as they wish, they should be able to be as active and independent as ever before and should continue to have rich and fulfilling lives. We want our clients to thrive and live life to the full no matter what age they are. That is our mission and something we are dedicated to delivering every day.
