ARE YOU WAITING FOR THE PERFECT TIME TO START?

Last week, ex-client Joe & myself was chatting & it made me want to share his story again

Last year, Joe & myself worked together and within 2 weeks Joe's situation changed massively

He was leaving his job and was going to work at the other end of the country & living in a hotel room..
.whilst changing from day work to night work! 😬

Joe could've very easily said "let's put things on hold” or β€œI’m gonna have to leave it mate”

But he didn't.

Why? Because deep down he wanted to change πŸ’ͺ🏻

Joe knew putting things on hold wouldn’t of got him any closer to achieving his health and fitness goals

He wanted to lose body fat and build some muscle, strength & confidence

He wanted to feel better in himself & be in a better routine with his eating habits

Credit to Joe, he saw the benefit of working with myself when his circumstances weren't ideal

We agreed that if he had support & guidance when the timing isn't perfect, once his circumstances do become smoother - he’d be flying πŸ‘ŒπŸ»πŸ˜

Tom’s words this week πŸ—£

When Tom & me started working together, his goal was to lose body fat whilst building muscle & strength

Tom wanted a leaner physique, one he was proud of 😎

He was unsure how to achieve this on his own

Like most people, he'd heard the phrase β€˜calorie deficit’ but he still had questions..

How many calories should I eat?
How much protein?
When can I eat?
What about weekends?
How do I apply all this to my lifestyle?

Instead of trying to figure it from scratch..

Tom saw the value in working with someone like myself

He understood this would take a lot of weight off his shoulders..

It would also save him a lot of time & stress..

Because trying to work things out on his own - it may have not got him closer to his goals 😬

So we got to work 🀝

The result?

Tom is now at a stage where he is very happy with how he looks & what he’s achieved 😁

When he wants to make changes, he now understands how to

❌ Without feeling like s**t
❌ Without banning certain foods

He’s no longer thinking β€œI can't eat this” or β€œthis is bad for me, I shouldn’t be eating it”

His mindset & relationship with food has COMPLETELY changed 😁

Don’t approach β€œa diet” as hardly eating anything and restricting yourself of foods you enjoy 🀦🏼

If you do, I guarantee you’ll be tired, weak and then binge out on the foods you’ve restricted yourself of.

You’ll then feel guilty and feel like this eating healthy is too hard and feel like a failure , then restrict yourself again and go round and round!

This isn’t good for you and certainly not good for your self-esteem and your confidence ❌

Adopt a nutritional strategy that’s balanced and aims to get more nutritious foods that you do enjoy into your diet, as well as including some some non nutritious foods you enjoy, without feeling guilty... All whilst taking you in the direction of your goals! πŸ’ͺ🏻😊πŸ₯’πŸ₯‘πŸžπŸŒ½
