Had a different kind of Monday afternoon. 🫶🏻

I introduced a client living with dementia to a puzzle activity, and he did amazingly! It was wonderful to see how much he enjoyed it. A fantastic start, and I’m looking forward to continuing tomorrow. 🧩✨

Today was an emotional day. ❤️
After two weeks apart, we were finally able to reunite a husband and wife as they both moved into their new forever home together. 🥹🫶🏻

The moment they saw each other again, they both cried and held hands for the longest time. 🥹

I brought them a few of their favourite treats and a card that read:

“It has been a privilege caring for you both. As you move into your new home, I want you to know that you will truly be missed. I’m confident you will be well looked after and supported, and I hope this next chapter brings you comfort, companionship, and peace.
Please take care, and thank you for allowing me to be part of your journey.”

Days like today remind me why I love what I do. 💛💛💛

Helped my gentleman get up, gave him a full wash, and made his breakfast, feeling greatful to be able to help 🫶🏻 and the sweetest moment was him holding my hand whilst he ate. 🥰
