Summer Beauty Taster Week (Ages 12–16)

Have you ever wondered what it’s like to work in the world of beauty therapy? Join our fun and friendly 5-day Summer Beauty Taster Course designed especially for budding beauty enthusiasts aged 12–16 who want to explore the basics of professional beauty treatments.

Led by an experienced beauty therapy educator and assessor, this hands-on week will introduce you to the exciting skills used in real salons while helping you learn how to properly care for your own skin and nails.

Throughout the week we will explore:
• Basic Anatomy & Physiology (A&P)
• Health & Safety and beauty industry legislation
• Facials and skincare
• Lash treatments, including an introduction to lash extensions
• Brow treatments, including brow lamination
• Manicures and nail care

You’ll learn what these treatments do, why they’re important, and how they are performed, with plenty of opportunities to practice and build your confidence.

Each student will receive their own beauty kit to keep, including:
• Facial products
• Nail care tools and products
• A lash kit with practice model head for learning lash techniques

While this course doesn’t provide a formal qualification (you’re not quite old enough yet 😉), it will give you a great foundation of knowledge about beauty treatments and skin care. It’s also the perfect chance to discover whether studying Level 2 and Level 3 Beauty Therapy — and a future career in the beauty industry — could be the right path for you.

Course Details:
📅 Start Date: 3rd August
🗓 Duration: 5 days (Monday–Friday)
⏰ Time: 9:30am – 3:30pm each day

At the end of the week, students will receive a Certificate of Attendance, and parents are warmly invited to join us on Friday afternoon for a small presentation where students can share what they’ve learned.

This course is all about learning, creativity, confidence, and having fun in a supportive environment. Whether you’re already beauty-obsessed or just curious to try something new, we’d love to welcome you! ✨
