Creating the right conditions for sleep means teaching your body that it’s safe to rest.

One non-negotiable habit I do every single morning 👇
I hydrate with mineralised water before I do anything else.

Why?
Because after 7–9 hours asleep, your body is dehydrated and your gut needs a wake-up call.

As a Functional Nutritionist who rebuilt my health from the inside out… there are a few things I simply don’t do anymore 👇

🚫 Drink alcohol
Because anything that trashes my liver + wrecks my sleep = an instant “no thanks.” I choose clarity, energy and nervous system calm.

🚫 Eat fast food
Once you understand what cheap oils + additives do to your gut + hormones… the cravings disappear. My body deserves better.

🚫 Use conventional laundry detergents
Hormone-disrupting chemicals on the clothes that sit on my skin all day? Absolutely not. My skin is a detox organ — I respect it.

🚫 Regularly use pain relief
Fever + pain are not your enemies — they’re your immune system doing its job. When we numb every signal, healing slows down. I let my body communicate… and support its process.

🚫 Use non-organic sanitary products
Direct contact with pesticides + bleach? Into the most absorbent part of the body? No. My hormones work hard — I support them.

I don’t do these things because I learned the hard way what happens when you ignore your health.
Now I back my body 100% — and teach women to do the same.

This week I made a decision.
A big one.
A quiet one.
A “my life will never look the same again” one.

I decided I’m DONE living from the beliefs I picked up as a little girl.

The ones that made me hustle for love.
Shrink to be accepted.
Question my worth.
Push through to prove I’m strong.

And the wild thing?
Those stories weren’t just in my head…
They were in my body.
In my gut issues.
In my hormones.
In my nervous system stuck in survival mode for 40 odd years.

My body was only ever trying to protect me
from a story that was never true.

So as I’ve sat with it all.
I unpicked everything I thought I had to be.
And I chose freedom.
I told my body: the war is over now.
You can soften.
You can receive.
You can heal.

And everything shifted.
Because when you change the story…
your biology follows.

So yes — I’m coming for the life that’s been waiting for me.

The joyful, bonkers, fully-felt one.
