🌿 Jen Acupuncture – Bringing Balance to Your Body & Mind 🌿

Hi, I’m Jen, and I’m passionate about helping people feel their best through Five Element Acupuncture. So far I’ve worked with people experiencing burnout, stress, autoimmune conditions, hormonal imbalances (including fertility and menopausal), joint pain and mental health challenges. Alongside acupuncture, I integrate moxibustion, gua sha, and cupping to create a deeply personalised experience. In today’s fast-paced world, our bodies are under constant stress. I believe in restoring balance naturally, helping you feel more grounded, resilient, and in tune with your well-being.

I recently spent a day a City College in London with Paul Johnson, learning more about what happens during perimenopause and menopause.

We explored the changes happening in the body, the wide range of signs and symptoms, and different treatment options available, including HRT - which can work well for some women but not for everyone. We looked at research (some referenced in this post) and how acupuncture may help ease certain symptoms and support women through this transition.

As with most things in health, acupuncture is just part of the picture. Lifestyle and diet can also play an important role. And acupuncture is really a single treatment - it often works best as a course of treatments or regular support.

If you have questions about menopause or acupuncture treatment, please feel free to get in touch.

Menopause CPD completed!

This weekend I attended a CPD course focused on how acupuncture can support women during perimenopause and menopause.

This stage of life can bring a wide range of symptoms- including hot flushes, sleep disturbances, anxiety, fatigue, headaches, joint pain, and much much more. Every woman is different and so will experience the menopausal differently.

It was really valuable to spend time deepening my understanding of how acupuncture can help regulate the body, support hormonal balance and improve overall wellbeing during this transition.

I’m looking forward to bringing what I learned this weekend into clinic and continuing to support women through perimenopause and menopause. Acupuncture is truly wonderful ❤️

Listening to your body isn’t always easy, but it’s often the clearest signal we get.

Rest when you need to, nourish yourself well, and don’t ignore the small signs - they’re usually there for a reason. 😉

Restore and Reset: Acupuncture meets Yoga.

Wow, what an amazing week. 🙌

I was lucky enough to be invited to two of Melissa’s yoga sessions at Little Light Studio in Lillington, where I had the chance to chat with her lovely yoga community and introduce them to acupuncture.

I gave a short talk about Five Element acupuncture- how it works, the kind of things I see and treat in clinic, and the techniques I use - hoping to spark a little interest in this beautiful holistic medicine.

Afterwards, I joined both yoga sessions which were fantastic. If you’ve never tried yoga before or want to get back into it, I would definitely recommend Melissa. She creates such a welcoming and calming space.

During the relaxation at the end, I applied ear seeds (for those who wanted them), and it felt like a lovely way to finish the session and help that grounded feeling last a little longer.

I was really touched that several people came up afterwards to ask questions and take a card. It was such a great experience, and I loved sharing something I’m so passionate about with people who might not have considered acupuncture before.

I left feeling very grateful 🙏

Thank you to both and for allowing these sessions to happen. ❤️
