"Just a message for the team who helped bring my baby girl into this world.

I came into St James to get induced with the hormone pessary. And 2 days later had my waters broken. The whole time in them 2 days were so lovely. All the midwives and students were so nice to me and made me feel happy and content the whole time.

Fast forwards to the day I had my waters broken in delivery room 3. I had the best midwife I could have asked for to be by my side for the active labour part. Unfortunately she didn’t get to meet my baby girl as I was still in labour after handover. But she was honestly amazing and made my boyfriend and I's experience so lovely.

I ended up having an emergency C section as I was dilating for more than 12 hours in labour. But even then, the team who did my C section were amazing too!

I just thought you guys might want to see a picture of her! She’s doing absolutely amazing and I couldn’t have asked for a better team! 🩷🩷"

"I just want to send a message to show how appreciative and grateful we are to the midwives and doctors who safely delivered our baby girl on the 17.11.25 at the LGI.

I had gone into hospital around 11pm where I was admitted onto the antenatal ward from triage, where everyone was so kind, I can’t remember everyone’s name but I do remember student midwife who’s name I believe was Lily who was so reassuring and kept checking in through the night and offering support as I was in a lot of pain, which was so kind.

Around 9am I was taken to delivery suite where I met my midwife Anna, and honestly what a special human!! She was amazing from the moment I met her, she was with us through the whole day until our daughter was born at 1653. She was honestly the most lovely and amazing midwife and I genuinely don’t know that I could have got through it without her support, she really made me feel listened to, provided so much reassurance and support, and was so positive throughout despite some complications towards the end of labour and after delivery.

Midwife Molly was also present in and out throughout the day and again she was just brilliant and so supportive! Despite the complications, not at one point did I feel worried or unsafe , Anna and molly’s reassurance made me feel so safe throughout, and both my birth partners felt the same.

Towards the end of my labour there were many faces in the room, midwives and doctors, I can’t remember their names but they were all just amazing at what they do. They communicated everything that was happening and what they were doing at every point, baby girl Eloise Florence was safely delivered and it was honestly the best moment of my life.

I cannot thank the special midwives and the whole team enough! You were all just amazing and it was the best day of my life. Thank you so much! You all deserve so so much credit for what you do xx"
