Thornton Medical Centre are swapping stethoscopes and computers for running shoes to support Armley Helping Hands

Dr Alim, Dr Porteus, Dr Springett and Office Manager Hollie Burns. will be running The Leeds Abbey Dash 10k on Sunday 30th November 2025 to raise vital funds to support our older people in the community.

Every Kilometre they run is a step towards supporting us to provide comfort, care, and a warmer world for our older generation.

Bitesize Winter Preparedness Session - The Bitesize Winter preparedness sessions are taking place on 19th Nov at 2 – 3pm and 3rd Dec at 10 – 11am delivered by colleagues in Public Health. The aim of the session is to:
• Increase awareness of the risks for vulnerable groups during winter
• Increase understanding of services and support available for those most at risk
• Signpost to key resources and guidance to further share winter prevention messages
