Got to see the coolest thing today!

I had my appointment to see if they can remove my wisdom teeth, they might only be able to take the top right one out but she needed to check with the dentist if they can remove both left ones as they are slightly higher/lower in the gum and the bottom left is sideways!😅😅

It might be a case of being referred back to the hospital to get those out in surgery.
I will find out tomorrow if they can do it
(i bloody hope so!!!)

Well I haven’t put an update on for a little while, its a long one so bare with🙈

I had an appointment with my urologist on a few weeks ago, i talked about all my reoccurring UTI/kidney infections and about my SNS, it has unfortunately not been working since august so i am needing a revision surgery to check the lead and battery on the inside and see if the placement of the wires have moved.

In the same surgery he is hopefully going to place a second battery and wire on the left side (mine is on the right) which should hopefully double my chances of it working 🤞🏻🤞🏻

I also had a kidney scan earlier this month which has shown 20+ kidney stones which will need removing somehow🙄 So we can only assume that is the reason for all these infections.

On another note, im needing 3-4 wisdom teeth removed 😂 I have my pre extraction appointment on Thursday and then i will hopefully get a date🤞🏻🤞🏻

It seems never ending but on a plus note, i did some awesome walking in the harness at physio on Wednesday!
The harness only took about 25%ish of my weight🥳

Ill keep you updated when i know more and thankyou all for your support, you all keep me going 🖤🖤🖤

On my second course of antibiotics this year for UTI’s and we havent even finished January yet 🙄😅😭

Guess who just changed Polly for the first time by herself!!!!!

I had a spare catheter (luckily) and i have another UTI so she needed changing ASAP, there are never any short notice appointments for catheter changes so i braved it and did it myself!!!!

I am so unbelievably proud of myself, this is a massive accomplishment as for the last 21 months i have only had her changed at the hospital.

Go me! Woooooo!

Well im certainly feeling it this morning!
Where my actual device is doesnt feel too bad, its mainly where the wires went in and where they did the spinal block thats sore.
It should start to ease up in the next few days though!

Im back in 3 weeks to have the SNs fully programmed and switched on and then my new life begins! 🤩🤩🤩

Chill day today for me though haha😅
