I did not capture many photographs today, but some of our residents from the Haven floor enjoyed an outing to the pub for lunch. There was engaging conversation, delicious food, a selection of wine, beer, juice, and coffee, and shared reminiscences of past times. Lorna recounted her visits to Cornwall, specifically Looe, which prompted Anne and Ron to share their own memories, as they had celebrated their honeymoon there.
Upon returning to the Manor's ground floor, everyone expressed a desire to engage in various activities, which was perfectly acceptable and indeed wonderful. At one table, individuals were playing dominoes, while at another, scrabble was being enjoyed. A third table was dedicated to watercolor art with pencils. Some individuals had selected books from the library and were reading in the reception area, while a few of the men were watching tv
