Do you struggle to put yourself first?

Always looking after other people needs before your own?

Worried that things will fall apart if you don't keep juggling ALL the balls?

Running on fumes? Pouring from an empty cup?

You catch my drift!!

So many of the clients I work with are stretched too thin; existing in states of high stress, anxiety and teering on burnout. They are always switched ON, always thinking of what they need to do next and struggle to let s**t go!

They are at the bottom of their own to do list!

If this is you, STOP just for 5 minutes. BREATHE a few deep breaths. Allow the shoulders to drop; the mind to quieten and the body to be still.

Your body and mind will thank you for it!

Feeling like you can never get to the end of the to-do list?

Feel like you're constantly running against time?

Shift the Stress & see the sunshine!!

There's something about the sunshine that gives us a little lift. It feels bright & warm and soothing.

But I can remember times when I was so stressed, overwhelmed & fatigued that the sunshine was a reminder that I wasn't present in my own life. Not seeing the brightness or feeling uplifted.

When we feel that life is a relentless endurance test, it's hard to see beyond the overwhelm. BUT, it IS possible to make changes that enable you to be less stressed & anxious, and be more present & connected.

This is what I support my clients with every day.

Stress Management in the Workplace..

Yes, we all know about stress!

Worklife can feel full-on, hectic & relentless. So, it's all the more important to use micro self care & stress release tools thought the day.

This week, working with , I delivered a stress management & meditation session to Medical Negligence Legal Team.

It was a great opportunity for the team to take time out of their day to reset.

Stress release doesn't have to be complicated. Sometimes, just a few moments of box breathing or time away from the desk, going for a walk can really help!!

I'm not gonna lie!

For the last couple of weeks, I've needed to draw on the regulation & stress management tools I share with clients. Supporting others with stress, anxiety & burnout doesn't make you immune to the curve balls that like throws at you!

Here are the things I found most useful to reset the equilibrium:

- Breathing exercises

- A massage

- Talking things through

- Changing the 'to-do' list to: things that are priorities & things that'll have to wait

- Saying no things that were likely to cause further overwhelm

- Accepting that how I felt was in response to life s**t & I'd move through it

Stress does not have to be a permanent state. We CAN change things to enable us to move through & process difficult times!
