Team Full Circle: Continuing Our Dementia Awareness Journey 💙

This week, Team Full Circle took part in a refresher course on dementia awareness, led by our wonderful Dementia Friends Ambassador, Ruth Owen. It was an inspiring session that helped us reflect, refresh our knowledge, and continue developing the ways we support people living with dementia and their families.

We’re also proud to share that our Community Engagement Lead, David Billington, has recently become part of the Age Friendly Ambassador programme with Leeds Older People’s Forum — strengthening our commitment to making our communities welcoming, inclusive and supportive for everyone. 🎉 Welcome to the Team, Amanda! 🎉

We’re delighted to share that our new Support Services Administrator, Amanda, has settled in wonderfully and become an integral part of the Full Circle team.

Amanda, who hails from Otley, brings with her fantastic personal, organisational, and finance skills, and she’s already been helping across every aspect of the business — from supporting families to keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes.

Her positivity, professionalism, and caring nature shine through in everything she does, and we couldn’t be more pleased to have her on board 💐

Can you crochet?

Hi All,
If anyone fancies a little crochet 🧶 project now the evenings are drawing in 🍂, why not make a poppy for the Guiseley Community Crochet Project?

We are asking peeps to make Poppies in red ❤️ , purple 💜, black 🖤 or white 🤍 in CHUNKY yarn only.
These will be displayed at Guiseley Cemetery as part of a project organised by Good Grief Guiseley.

🌺 If you need yarn, just email me at daisycroftcrafts@gmail.com or PM me to organise collection.
🌺 The finished poppies will need to be back with me by Sunday 2nd November. Details of drop off point tbc soon.
