🎄 Festive vibes at Renew HG1 YP! 🎄

This December, Renew HG1 YP are turning up the festive cheer — a wellbeing café for local Harrogate young people.

On Tuesday 9 December, 3:30–5:00 PM, at Harrogate Baptist Church Community Hall (opposite the Odeon, HG1 5RD), join them for a cosy Christmas hang-out filled with hot chocolate with marshmallows & sprinkles, a Santa zip-wire game, gingerbread decorating, Christmas colouring & diamond art, and festive treats. ✨

They’ll also be joined by Halsa Wellbeing, sharing easy wellbeing tips — and every guest gets a free goody bag full of festive surprises!

Five more Carbon Literate Funeral care Professionals!

Delighted to be sending off these certificates - to five team members in a large independent funeral director's "down South".

Their CEO is a big advocate for decarbonising funeral care and I delivered the team their own private Funeral Care Carbon Literacy Training. Now that their pledges have all been indepenently approved by The Carbon Literacy Project they are officially Carbon Literate Citizens.

Last week at Headingley Stadium, we got together with funeral directors from across Yorkshire for a really positive event all about how we can better support local families.

The day was organised by our funeral plan provider, Golden Charter, and it was a great chance to share ideas, learn from each other, and chat about the challenges and opportunities we’re all seeing in our communities.

It was brilliant to be in a room full of people who genuinely care about making a difference. We came away feeling inspired and looking forward to working even more closely together for the families who rely on us.

We’re preparing a special activity for the Kindness Festival in Harrogate on 17 January 2026, where families and young people will be invited to create their own ‘memory jars’ — a gentle way to capture moments, thoughts and memories that matter.

To help make this possible, we’re kindly asking for donations of empty jam jars — any type, any size is perfect. If you have a few spare jars at home, we’d be so grateful if you could drop them off at any of our Full Circle Services locations over the coming weeks.
