A Mcdonalds lunch for a change!

Residents Carol and Pauline had not had a McDonalds for years! So we decided to go over for a little lunch date for something different and it did not disappoint! They loved it 🥰

What a tremendous effort made for charity across our care homes this holiday season 🧡

At Stoneleigh Care Home in Annfield Plain, this year’s Christmas Fayre was held in support of the MND Association, raising £433.50 in memory of much-loved colleague Caroline. Residents, families, colleagues and the local community came together to honour her memory and support others affected by MND.

Meanwhile, colleagues, families and friends at Colton Lodges Care Home ran a Christmas toy appeal for children spending the festive season in hospital. Thanks to the generosity of everyone involved, over 50 toys were collected and delivered to Leeds Children's Hospital, bringing kindness, comfort and joy to children and families at a difficult time.

💙 Community Support in Action 💙

We’re proud to have donated food to St Wilfrid’s Church Food Bank, helping support individuals and families in our local community.

Giving back is something we truly value at our care home, and it’s been wonderful to play a small part in helping those who may be facing difficult times. A big thank you to everyone at St Wilfred’s for the incredible work they do day in, day out and of course a massive thank you to all relatives and staff who donated food for this cause!

Our residents enjoyed a lovely trip to Tong Garden Centre!🎅🎁

From browsing the beautiful Christmas displays to some christmas shopping, finishing off with a fish and chip lunch and cake for pudding, it was a wonderful opportunity for everyone to soak up the Christmas spirit! 🎄 ✨

This Christmas, our team at Colton Lodges were delighted to donate a selection of toys to the wonderful children at LGI Hospital. 💖🧸

We hope these toys help bring a little joy, comfort, and magic to the children and families spending time in hospital this Christmas.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make this possible. Together, we’re proud to spread a little festive cheer where it’s needed most. 🎁✨

✨🌲 A Magical Evening at Stockeld Park! 🌲✨

Our residents from Elmet house enjoyed a truly enchanting trip to the Stockeld Park Light Show! The sparkling woodland trails, colorful displays, and festive atmosphere was magical for our residents✨😊

We shared laughter, hot drinks, and plenty of “oohs and ahhs” as we wandered through the glowing pathways together. Moments like these remind us how special it is to create joyful memories with our residents. 💛
