We’ve been surrounded by lots of sweets 🍬🍭, smiles 💕, beautiful pink merch 💖🛍️, and so many inspiring people 🙌

From planning for the North exhibition 🎪 to podcast chats 🎙️ and everything in between, we couldn’t be prouder of what we’ve achieved at this month 💼🌟

💖 Pink, practical… and just a little bit fabulous! 💖

Look what’s arrived at SupportiveAction HQ, stacks of shiny new notebooks and pads! 📝✨

They’re ready for Kidz Up North, and maybe… just maybe… tied into a little surprise coming in January 👀 (keep your eyes peeled!)

If you know Dani, you’ll know she loves a good list, a doodle, and a notebook that makes admin feel just that bit more exciting 💅

So the real question is… who wants a pink pad? 💗

A day in the life — the SupportiveAction way 💗🌿

From 5am starts and Pilates grippy socks to care plans, emails, podcast recording, a quick food shop, a walk, and (of course) a much-needed hot chocolate stop 🍫☕ — all before 5pm!

No two days ever look the same when you run your own business. Some days it’s all movement and motivation, others it’s admin and caffeine — but it’s always filled with purpose (and a splash of pink 💻✨).

This week we’re saying a huge pink hello 💗 to the wonderful Rebecca, one of our brilliant Clinical Specialist Occupational Therapists, based in Leeds! 🌸
With an impressive MSc in Occupational Therapy (Pre-Registration) and qualifications as a Moving and Handling Train the Trainer, Rebecca brings extensive expertise in helping individuals overcome physical, cognitive, and mental health challenges 💪🧠💞
Her work focuses on supporting adults with occupational dysfunction, especially following illness, injury, or brain injury. She’s passionate about making sure every intervention is tailored to each person’s unique journey 💫 Whether it’s postural management, rehabilitation, or equipment provision, Rebecca’s knowledge and care shine through in everything she does 🌷✨
💬 Fun Facts About Rebecca!
📚 Before discovering her love for Occupational Therapy, she worked at Cambridge University Library, where she got to handle some truly historic and famous books!
🎓 She actually studied Politics and Sociology at Manchester University before taking a completely new direction into OT, talk about following your passion! 💖
🐹 And here’s one for the animal lovers… as a kid, Rebecca always had pets, including a hamster who surprised her with ten tiny babies overnight! 🐾
We’re so lucky to have Rebecca on the team, her compassion, clinical expertise, and sense of fun make such a difference every single day! 💕🌸💼

Thursdays Intimacy, S*x and Disability training in London 💕

It was a day full of honesty, laughter, and (of course) plenty of sweets because let’s be real, no training day is complete without them! 🍬😂

We unpacked everything from:
⚖️ The legal frameworks that protect clients and staff

🧠 What consent and capacity really look like in practice

💬 Why silence creates risk — and how to have confident, kind conversations

🤝 How care, dignity, and moving and handling beautifully intertwine

My favourite part? Watching those nervous smiles at the start of the day turn into open, curious, and meaningful discussions by the end. 🌱

It’s not about being clinical or cautious — it’s about seeing the whole person and giving this topic the airtime it deserves.

Here’s to more sweet moments, open minds, and honest conversations. ✨💜

This week we’re starting off strong 💪 by introducing the incredible Dani! Our amazing Director and Moving & Handling Practitioner here at SupportiveAction Ltd! 🎀
👩‍💼 With experience in complex care and a specialism in neurodevelopmental conditions, Dani brings a wealth of expertise to every training session she delivers. She’s passionate about equipping others with the skills and knowledge they need to provide safe, effective care 🌟
🏆 Nationally recognised as a 2025 National Back Exchange Award Finalist, Dani is an influential voice in moving and handling, even presenting on Disability and S*x at the NBE Conference! 🎤💬
💗 Her training style? Engaging, practical, and empowering! She’s all about hands-on learning, real-world application, and making sure everyone leaves feeling confident and capable 🙌
