Another fantastic friendly!! Our 3rd win in pre-season 👌👏👍. The lads are putting their time and effort in - it's showing!! Led by the most dedicated management team 🙌 Next pre-season game for us is on Saturday! Bring in on!! Lets go for 4 for 4!!

We started the game on the back foot, struggling to find rhythm in the opening 10–15 minutes. Some sloppy defending and a questionable decision from the referee saw us go 1–0 down from the penalty spot.
After a few tactical tweaks, we grew into the game and began playing through the thirds with ease. A dominant spell in the first half saw us produce some excellent football, resulting in three well-taken goals and a 3–1 lead going into the break.
As expected in pre-season, more changes followed in the second half, which disrupted our momentum slightly. It took a while for the lads to settle again, but we still managed to edge the half 2–1 and seal a deserved 5–2 win overall.
That said, we know there’s still plenty left in the tank, and the game highlighted a few areas we need to sharpen up on. But that’s what pre-season is for, getting minutes in the legs and building cohesion as a unit.
A big thank you to Rothwell Juniors for making the short trip over, we wish them the very best for the season ahead.
Our focus now turns to Saturday’s fixture, as we prepare for a strong test against West Yorkshire Premier side Oxenhope, aiming to make it 4 from 4.
