We’re pleased to welcome Chase Phillip to the team as an Assistant Rehab Practitioner.

Chase brings a strong academic background in pharmaceutical and health sciences, alongside valuable experience in scientific research. Her studies have provided a robust foundation in human physiology, pathophysiology, and evidence-based, patient-centred rehabilitation.

In her role, Chase works collaboratively with clients and families to deliver safe, effective, and person-centred rehabilitation programmes designed by our Neuro-Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and wider multidisciplinary team. She supports clients across gym-based therapy, hydrotherapy, and specialist in-clinic interventions, applying her knowledge of movement and physical activity to optimise functional outcomes and promote independence.

Looking ahead, Chase plans to undertake an MSc in Physiotherapy, further strengthening her clinical expertise and expanding her impact across rehabilitation settings. Her long-term goal is to combine strong scientific foundations with hands-on patient care to deliver high-quality, evidence-led physiotherapy practice.

We’re delighted to have Chase as part of our growing team and look forward to the positive contribution she’ll make to the children, young people, and families we support.
Welcome to the team & wishing you all the success!

Last week, our team had an insightful training by Lisa Hannan and Louise Monaghan from Second Skin on neurological dynamic splinting and orthosis. The training explored how the dynamic stability garments can enhance postural alignment, body awareness, and functional movement when prescribed for the right client and goal.

Key discussions centred on clear referral pathways, accurate fitting and application, and monitoring splints over time to ensure comfort, safety, and impact. Impact of growth and regular review, particularly for our paediatric and young adult clients, highlighting the importance of adapting support as bodies and needs change.

A valuable learning opportunity that strengthens our clinical decision-making regarding the choice and prescription of orthosis and ultimately improves outcomes for the clients we support.

For a long time, families across the North of England have had limited access to specialist paediatric neurorehabilitation. I’ve seen firsthand how challenging that has been for parents seeking the right care closer to home.

The opening of Healing Touch Rehab Centre in Leeds is such a meaningful milestone for us. We are now the region’s only outpatient clinic offering the Innowalk Pro - a full body movement training device allowing us to deliver advanced, evidence-based rehabilitation locally without families needing to travel long distances.

Our aim has always been simple: to make high-quality neurorehabilitation accessible to the families who need it most and we are incredibly proud of what this represents for families in the North and excited about the impact this centre will have in the months and years ahead!

What a truly fabulous coffee morning at our rehab centre ☕✨
We loved opening our doors for a warm clinic tour, sharing the services we offer, and talking about our inspiration, vision, and referral pathways. The room was filled with positive vibes, thoughtful conversations, and a shared commitment to doing better for children, young people, and families.

We hope everyone left with something valuable to take home, clearer pathways, new connections, and practical ideas to support service users and their charities. Thank you for bringing your energy, compassion, and curiosity. Days like this remind us why we do what we do 💙
