Recently the news has been full of heartbreak about the state of mental health services… but here in West Yorkshire, something very different is happening.
Our HEROES Programme is growing - and the movement is alive 🌱
These testimonials say more than I ever could. And I’m not going to lie… meeting these patients for the first time and hearing them speak like this moved me to tears. 😮💨🥹
To come back to the area where I first developed HEROES, and witness how the programme continues to change lives long after I’ve stepped away… it’s surreal. And it’s proof that sustainable, trauma-informed transformation is possible.
Our model means I can step in, train staff, and leave behind a fully self-sustaining service in any organisation.
And now -with our new practitioner training; ANY person can train as a HEROES Approach Practitioner (HAP) and build their own business, rooted in lived-experience-led healing. 🥰🤝🏽
To find out more you can head to my bio to join my live webinar this Thursday 🤍 💻
If you feel called to be a part of this movement, I’d love to see you there 🤝🏽🧩
And if this touched you, please share our good news story. Help HEROES spread across the UK the way we know it can. 🧩✨
Thank you to our incredible Burmantofts, Harehills and Richmond Hill PCN students for your courage and your stories- we love you. 🤍
Huge gratitude to and Sharon Ness for facilitating HEROES in this area. The results you’re achieving are absolutely gobsmacking. I am so proud.
And thank you to and the Mayor’s Big Ideas Challenge for supporting our innovation to tackle health inequalities. 🧩
