❔What is autism?
📣"Autism influences how people experience and interact with the world. It is a lifelong neurodivergence and disability. Autistic people are different from each other, but for a diagnosis they must share differences from non-autistic people in how they think, feel and communicate. Every year on 20th March, we celebrate World Oral Health Day!

The date was chosen because the number 20 plays a big role in oral health:
>Children have 20 baby teeth.
>Older adults are encouraged to keep at least 20 of their natural teeth as they age.

Our Oral Health is so important to our overall health, wellbeing and happiness so it is vital we start good oral health habits from the very first tooth and for our whole lives!

💙TOMORROW IS WORLD DOWN SYNDROME DAY💛

☀Down syndrome is a genetic condition occurring at conception where a person is born with an extra copy of chromosome 21 (Trisomy 21), resulting in 47 chromosomes instead of the typical 46.

🧦 is a global awareness campaign for World Down Syndrome Day (March 21) that encourages wearing, buying, or designing colourful, mismatched socks to represent the 21st chromosome and promote inclusion.

🗣️This years theme is loneliness. Everyone feels lonely sometimes. But for many people with Down syndrome and other intellectual disabilities, loneliness is a more common and painful experience. Their families can feel lonely too, and feel cut off from support.
