If you know me from Lidl you'll know i like a laugh and am usually smiling. It's frustrated me no end when I've booked tradies and they've been late, or not bothered turning up, or turned up and been miserable, we've even had one leave halfway thru the job!!!

But how hard is it to just have a bit of warmth and a laugh with someone who's invited you into their home? Don't get me wrong we've had some decent tradies too but it's not been the majority.

I pride myself on a warm, friendly, reliable service from the first time you message me to the first quote visit til the job's done, because that's just who I am.

And honestly its never that serious so you may as well have a laugh!!!

Its not cancer yayyyy

I should be able to resume normal shop hours next week apart from.twice weekly vet visits for an hour, but I'll be bringing maeve with me to the shop whenever possible, please do stop in and give her a love if you're passing as she's so bored without her usual hours of exercise a day

Update: I will not be able to open on Friday either.
I will be open on Saturday 12-4pm & there is no change to Sunday's workshop.

Hey folks, I'm so sorry but I will have to close tomorrow and possibly also Friday and Saturday (i will update Thursday regarding this).

Maeve is back in the vets with a nasty wound infection after her surgery, she needs more surgery and then she needs 24/7 care to keep her away from the wound. Jamie is going to Ireland tomorrow so I've really got no options but to close.

There is no change to the event on Sunday. There is no change to clinic which is all remote this week.

Hiya I'm Jamie. You may recognise me from Lidl where I worked for 2.5 years up until yesterday. I've now left to take up a full time electrical engineer job and I run She's Handy on my days off.

I've been so surprised by how quickly She's Handy has taken off! I started it in February out of frustration with how hard it is to get a good tradie! I love Leek, having moved here from Ireland in 2023 and love how warm and welcoming the community is. It's great to be able to give back.

I have always had a strong work ethic, pride myself on respecting your time and I genuinely love my work especially anything electrical, which I've completed 2 years of training in.
