How blessed are we ?

Two years ago today, a young family deeply grieving placed their trust in us to guide them through a journey that at such young ages they did not envisage they would need to take so soon.

From that day, we have been truly humbled that there are many more families that have felt the comfort, support, advice and guidance we have given when we are needed.

We provide a beautiful, peaceful and calm setting where the door is always open - even if just for a chat.

We are grateful for those families that have shared their stories of loss with us, those that have simply sat in silence, those that have spoken freely about their own wishes and feelings and those that have trusted us.

Remember that tomorrow is never promised and so today as we reflect upon our journey so far, I leave you with the words that so many people may relate to.

Thank you all for supporting us over the last two years and thank you to those that will continue to support us.

There are so many families that have become friends 🩷💙

We are always here for you.

Beautiful blue skies surrounded the Chapel as a family walked the path with someone so special to them. The outpouring of love shown by family and friends was immense and this lady did not take her final journey alone. She was embraced by all who loved her and will continue to love her.

A sad day where tears flowed gently and hearts were broken but what was clear throughout is that this lady left her mark on so many.

Stories were told, her favourite music was played and a life in photographs was portrayed.

The Celebration of Life was truly a "celebration" with many friends and family echoing the same sentiment - "this is how it should be done".

We truly hope that the family take comfort in knowing that they ensured that the final journey was peaceful and from the words below, we take immense pride in knowing that we made that journey easier for the family 🌼.

We thank you all for trusting us.

Sometimes in life a little reminder is all that is needed to show that we have made a difference.

A beautiful heartfelt message received this morning from a lady who should take comfort in knowing that she was there too.

Whilst this message is a "thank you" to us, we say "thank you" to her too for being there when she was needed one more time. You are an amazing lady and we are grateful for the support you gave just by being there 🩷.

When you question whether you "did enough" - just remember, you did more than you could ever imagine 🩷

Sometimes in life we come across people who leave an imprint.

Below is just a snippet of a review from a family whose "Queen" travelled her final journey last week.

I was deeply honoured and privileged to have met this Queen prior to her passing and she openly discussed with me her wishes for not only herself but also for her beloved children.

Brave, strong and courageous are only a small amount of words that summed up how this lady faced her illness.

Caring for a loved one also means caring for their family and the relationship we form is built on trust. I am so touched by these kind words as it is evident that the family trusted us to take care of someone so precious.

May this Queen find eternal rest 🪻🌼🌸

On Thursday 19th March 2026, I was deeply honoured and privileged to assist a very special family in laying their beloved Mother to rest.

This family have been a constant part of my life for my whole entire life and they are the friends that have become my "family".

The sun shone brightly, the chosen music echoed through the Chapel and the visual tribute of photographs gave just a snippet of a life well lived.

Whilst the family have taken time to send their thanks to me, I sincerely thank you all for trusting me to take care of someone so precious.

May you rest peacefully now Caroline 💚
