Hello Facebook friends and family.

I'm looking to set up a charity that is based on providing FREE bereavement support for the local community, the difference is this will be tailored to individual needs BUT the hard part is funding, so please can I ask you lovely people to like and share my page Counselling with Caroline. And the name of the charity is called, the Mountain Foundation.

Please see below.

Can you help?
The Mountain Foundation are looking to support the local community within Rayleigh, Eastwood, Leigh-On-Sea, Southend, Wickford and Basildon. The Mountain Foundation is a bereavement and loss charity that would like to be in the position to offer FREE counselling for families dealing with bereavement.

Dealing with bereavement, the experience of losing a loved one, is a deeply personal and challenging process. Coping with grief can be different for everyone, and it's important to allow yourself to grieve in your own way and at your own pace hence why we want to be able to offer you support that is tailored to your individual needs and at no cost.

If anyone knows anyway we can obtain funding, we would really appricate it, as we believe with this support we could help many people through this difficult part of their life.

Depression can affect a person's thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and physical well-being. Some common symptoms of depression include:

Persistent Sadness: Feeling sad, empty, or hopeless most of the day, nearly every day.

Loss of Interest: Decreased interest or pleasure in activities that were once enjoyed.

Changes in Appetite or Weight: Significant weight loss or gain, or changes in appetite.

Sleep Disturbances: Insomnia or excessive sleeping.

Fatigue: Feeling tired or having low energy.

Difficulty Concentrating: Trouble focusing, making decisions, or remembering things.

Feelings of Worthlessness or Guilt: Feeling worthless or excessively guilty.

Physical Symptoms: Physical aches, pains, or other symptoms without a clear physical cause.

Suicidal Thoughts: Thoughts of death or su***de, or a preoccupation with death.

It's important to remember that everyone's experience with depression is unique, and not everyone will experience all of these symptoms. If you or someone you know is struggling with depression, it's advisable to seek help.

I offer a FREE consultation via phone or Teams.

This is such a lovely poem to explain Autism. 💙

Autism is:

Unable to speak, or maybe speaking too much
Hugging everyone, or disliking touch
Escaping outside,
Or trying to hide
Excitedly flapping
Inappropriate clapping
Autism varies so much

Won't wear a coat, or wears one all year round
Fussy eater, or would eat dirt from the ground
Screaming or humming
Annoyingly drumming
Toys in a line
The same way every time
Autism varies so much

Struggling to learn, or has wonderful gifts
Obsessions of numbers, trains, films or lifts
Spinning around
Throws things on the ground
Constantly spitting
Aggressively hitting
Autism varies so much

Alone without friends, or controls every game
Always looks different, always dresses the same
Swinging on doors
Head banging on floors
Freaks at the dryer
Keeps climbing higher
Autism varies so much.

Can't answer questions, won't do as they're told
In their own world or bossy and bold
Over prepared
Anxious and scared
A spectrum so wide
But they all bring us pride
When autism touches our lives.

I support autism awareness...💙

Anxiety pain in the bum!

Anxiety refers to a normal and often healthy response to stress or a perceived threat. It's a natural part of human experience and can serve as a mechanism to help us stay alert and focused in challenging situations. However, when anxiety becomes excessive, persistent, and interferes with daily functioning, it can develop into an anxiety pain in the bum!.

Anxiety can be characterized by intense and irrational feelings of fear, worry, or unease. There are several types of anxiety, including:

Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD): This involves chronic and excessive worry about various aspects of life, often without a specific trigger. People with GAD may find it difficult to control their worry, leading to physical symptoms like restlessness, muscle tension, fatigue, and irritability.

Panic Disorder: Individuals with panic disorder experience sudden and intense episodes of fear known as panic attacks. These attacks can be accompanied by physical symptoms like a racing heart, shortness of breath, chest pain, and a feeling of impending doom.

Social Anxiety Disorder: Also known as social phobia, this disorder involves an intense fear of social situations or being judged by others. People with social anxiety may avoid social interactions or endure them with extreme distress.

Specific Phobias: These are intense fears of specific objects, situations, or activities. Common examples include heights, flying, spiders, and needles. These phobias can lead to avoidance behaviors to prevent exposure to the feared stimuli.

Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD): OCD involves recurring intrusive thoughts (obsessions) and repetitive behaviors or mental acts (compulsions) aimed at reducing the anxiety caused by the obsessions. These behaviors can significantly interfere with daily life.

Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD): PTSD develops after experiencing a traumatic event. Symptoms include flashbacks, nightmares, and intense anxiety triggered by reminders of the traumatic event.

Separation Anxiety Disorder: More commonly observed in children, this disorder involves excessive fear or anxiety related to separation from attachment figures, such as parents or caregivers.

If you or someone you know is struggling with anxiety, it's important to talk to someone, this could be a friend, family member, GP, counsellor, care giver, as this can help open the door in finding support in managing your anxiety.
