Microneedling in action 🖤
Microneedling is one of my absolute favourite treatments to perform. The results are just amazing for so many skin types and I love that it’s all about kick starting your skins natural systems to provide the glowy, youthful, healthy skin.
Microneedling works by creating thousands of micro channels with tiny needles causing a natural inflammatory response. This stimulates the skin to regenerate and repair itself naturally and safely with new, collagen rich tissue.
Collagen is important for the skin as it acts as an almost scaffold for all of the goodness we produce naturally. As we get older, collagen production reduces and we lose elastin, which leads to dry, crepey skin which in turn leads to wrinkles.
Regular microneedling can keep us producing good quality collagen to keep our skin young, prevention is better than cure after all 🙌🏻
