Swanholme Court Care Home Swanholme Court Care Home is a warm and homely care home in the Hartsholme area of Lincoln. We specialise in elderly and dementia care.

Swanholme Court Care Home provides residential and dementia care in a quiet residential area of Lincoln near Hartsholme Country Park. Swanholme Court is home to up to twenty-seven residents and offers both long-term and short-term care. Further facilities are available next door at the sister care home, Eccleshare Court which provides a hair salon, chiropodist, pub, cafe and daily activities.

We’re delighted to share the launch of our brand-new Baking Club here at swanholme!
Today, our wonderful residents rolled up their sleeves, tied on their aprons, and filled the kitchen with the delicious smell of freshly baked sausage rolls for all to enjoy.
Baking isn’t just about cakes and biscuits — it’s about sharing memories, learning new skills, and enjoying special moments together, and today, we did exactly that 💛

We have had a great day today, starting with a fun quiz morning that everyone really enjoyed. Afterwards, we treated ourselves to some delicious Cornish pasties and a lovely cup of tea, celebrating Cornish pasty week in the best way. We also enjoyed a nice walk around the local estate, getting some fresh air and stretching our legs. It has been a wonderful day full of smiles, good company, and lovely moments together.

Here at Swanholme, we are very excited to announce that our new Baking Club will be up and running soon!👩‍🍳👨‍🍳

The club will start this Sunday and will take place every other week at 11am in the dining room.

We’re kicking things off by making delicious homemade sausage rolls — and we can’t wait to get started!

If you have any recipe suggestions or favourite bakes you’d like us to try, please hand them to the receptionist or a member of the wellbeing team.🍞🧁🍪

With the sun shining, we took the opportunity to head outdoors and make the most of the fresh air ☀️

We covered a fantastic 5.19km as part of our dementia challenge — plenty of steps, smiles, chats and laughter along the way. 👣💬

Of course, no walk would be complete without a well-deserved stop for a cuppa and pub lunch at The Nosey Parker. Fish and chips were a firm favourite and thoroughly enjoyed by all! 🐟🍟

We’ve had a busy day here today!
This morning we enjoyed playing some fun games, including bean bag toss and hoops over the cones – there was definitely some friendly competitiveness in the air! 😊
Later on, we enjoyed a lovely walk to the local shop and around the estate, followed by some time relaxing and reading the activities magazine together.

Our Story

Swanholme Court Care Home is a residential care home in the Hartsholme area of Lincoln. The home provides elderly residential care, specialist dementia care and respite care.

Swanholme Court is situated in a quiet residential area of Lincoln and provides family-led residential care in a warm, homely setting. Catering for up to 27 residents, our home is small and cosy, with a real family atmosphere. Our caring and compassionate staff get to know each resident individually, providing personalised care and really helping them enjoy daily life at Swanholme. If we’re not taking part in activities within the home, our residents are often out in the local community at events on one of our regular trips. We have an adjacent social outreach centre, giving residents access to additional facilities such as a hair salon, chiropodist, library and shop - all of which help our residents maintain an active, engaging lifestyle.
