This has been on my mind lately with all the experiences you shared with me… 🤔
I’m a big believer in standards, in doing things properly and never offering something if I don’t think it will work for YOU.
However, someone once said to me, “Oh, but they’re a medic I thought I could trust them.”
Being a medic doesn’t always mean they’re PROFESSIONAL.
I’ve met nurses, doctors, dentists… some absolutely incredible. I’ve also met a few who made me question how they got there.
It’s not just about being a “medic”, it’s about your attitude, integrity, empathy, communication etc.
I’ve met non-medics with more professionalism, empathy, and integrity than some people with years of clinical training.
It’s about knowing that when a patient trusts you with their face, you treat that trust like gold.
That’s professionalism and a degree can’t teach that. 🤔 Would you agree or disagree with me?
