Now that spring has sprung, it’s time for you to get your next appraisal completed. Remember, the templates are there to help you host the conversation, but it is entirely up to you how the conversation flows. Focus on the things that are important to you in your role, in your career and towards your overall development.

Have your initial appraisal within this first window, until the end of June. Set clear objectives that matter to you and your work. By confirming your focus over the coming year, you will not only support your own local goals, but you are also enabling the wider LCHG aim of providing high quality care.

Once you have set your objectives, set a reminder in your diary regular 1:1s to monitor progress and agree any changes to objectives or support needed.
