🌟 Play Gym Adventures for Chan’s Cosy Cubs! 🌟

Today we had a fantastic day out at the play gym! 🧸💛 The children had so much fun climbing, sliding, balancing and exploring all the different soft play areas.

It was lovely to see their confidence growing as they tried new things, supported one another, and developed their physical skills through active play. Lots of giggles, big smiles and happy faces all around! 😊

Active play like this helps build coordination, strength and social skills – and most importantly, it’s great fun!

🌿 Today’s Adventure at Beaumont Park 🌿

We had a lovely day exploring Beaumont Park today! The children enjoyed lots of fresh air, nature walks, and time at the playground. We talked about the different trees and spotted some early signs of spring, which sparked lots of curiosity and conversation 😊

Outdoor play is so important for building confidence, supporting physical development, and encouraging teamwork — and today was full of smiles, laughter, and learning through play.

Well done everyone for such fantastic listening and kindness towards each other. We can’t wait for our next little adventure! 🍃

✨ It’s a wrap on week one at Chan’s Cosy Cubs! ✨

I’ve had the most amazing first week opening Chan’s Cosy Cubs🥹🎉. Getting to know the children, building those first connections, and having so much fun together has made it extra special.
I’m feeling incredibly proud and grateful after such a positive start and can’t wait for all the adventures, learning, and giggles still to come 🧸💛

Hello im Chantel, the heart behind Chan’s Cosy Cubs 💕 I’m a mum to three wonderful girls 👧👧👧, and being a parent myself has shaped everything I believe about caring for children.

I understand how important it is to leave your child in a place where they feel safe, loved, and truly valued 🤍 At Chan’s Cosy Cubs, childminding is more than just childcare – it’s about creating a warm, home-from-home environment 🏡 where children can grow in confidence 🌱, learn through play 🎨, and feel secure enough to be themselves.

✨ Big News at Cosy Cubs! ✨

I’m delighted to share that I have passed my registration visit and Cosy Cubs is now officially registered! 🎉

For my visit, I set up this colour-matching tuff tray activity, where the children helped the animals “find their way home” by matching them to the correct coloured bowls. 🐢🐟

This activity supported:
🎨 Colour recognition
🤲 Fine motor skills
🧠 Problem-solving
🗣️ Communication and language

I’m so proud of how the visit went and excited to continue providing a safe, nurturing and play-based environment for the children at Cosy Cubs. Thank you to everyone who has supported me on this journey 🧸

We’re busy getting everything ready for the opening of Cosy Cubs, and we couldn’t wait to share a little preview! 🧸

Our cosy corner has been thoughtfully created with a snug tent, soft blankets and warm lighting – a calm, comforting space where little ones will be able to relax, enjoy stories and feel safe and secure 💛

Every area at Cosy Cubs is being designed with children’s wellbeing, comfort and development in mind. We’re so excited to welcome our first little cubs very soon 🧸

We’ve been busy adding lots of exciting new resources to the Chan’s Cosy Cubs setting, all carefully chosen to support learning through play 💛

✨ What we’ve added:
• Imaginative play toys & role-play sets
• Creative arts & crafts activities
• Vehicles, building & problem-solving toys
• Games and resources to support early learning
• Plenty of fun for all ages of little cubs

Every item has been selected to encourage creativity, confidence, and curiosity, while keeping our setting cosy, safe, and welcoming.
