Perimenopause is one of the three stages of menopause. It’s when menopause symptoms start but your periods haven’t stopped.
For many women, these symptoms can affect daily life – from energy and mood to relationships and work.
They can also start earlier for some, which is why recognising the signs and getting support matters.

When children are unwell it can be worrying, but many common illnesses can be cared for at home. Here are some simple tips and advice to help.
🤒 Tummy aches in kids are common and usually get better on their own. Offer fluids, simple foods, and rest. If symptoms worsen, call 111.
💙 Comfort is key – sick children often want extra cuddles. Keep them hydrated, cool, and comfortable.
🌙 Coughs can disrupt sleep – try elevating their head, keeping a drink nearby, and soothing sore noses with Vaseline.
💧 Most childhood illnesses are viral – antibiotics won’t help. Focus on snacks, fluids, and rest.
