A pharmacy can help with a wide range of minor illness, and provide all sorts of services and advice. Most now offer the Pharmacy First service which provides treatment for 7 common conditions, without the need for a GP appointment.

Open evenings and weekends, x-ray services, no appointment needed.

If you need help for something non-urgent and it can't wait until your GP surgery is open, or if you're unsure of what service you need, use NHS 111 online for help 24 hours a day. You can also call 111.
You will be directed to the most appropriate care, with call back from a clinician if it's needed.
