I’m excited to launch my first block of wellbeing sessions for young people who are home educated or accessing alternative provision.

Date: Monday 24th Nov, 1st Dec, 8th Dec and 15th Dec
Time: 10.30am
Duration: 1 hour
Location: Saxon Business Park, Littleport
Cost: £25 for 4 sessions or £8 per session
Themes covered: understanding and managing emotions and worries, looking after own well-being, building confidence and self esteem.

Places are limited so get in touch today to book a space.
We can arrange a free (no obligation) visit to meet me and see the Blooming Youth space prior to the weekly sessions commencing.

We talk so often about teaching children emotional regulation — but forget they’re still learning what emotions even are.

They’re not misbehaving when they feel deeply.
They’re being human.

Children don’t need to be perfectly composed to be good — they need space to fall apart and know they’re still loved. Because if we want them to grow into adults who can regulate their emotions, we have to start by modelling what regulation looks like — not perfection, but repair.

They’re allowed to feel angry, frustrated, disappointed, overwhelmed. They’re allowed to have limits, just like we do. And sometimes, they’ll lose it — just like we do.

When we remember that, we stop meeting their chaos with control, and start meeting it with compassion.

Because the truth is — they’re not giving us a hard time. They’re having a hard time. ❤️
