Friday is a beautiful day — full of light, possibility, and the chance to take back control, allowing you to reset the mind. 🌿

But too often, the internal critic tries to run the show: overthinking, doubting, filling your mind with nonsense & noise.

Today, remember this: you are not that voice.

Awareness is your superpower. When you recognise the chatter, just pause, then separate yourself from it.

Every time you separate yourself from the negative intrusive thoughts, you take back control. 💪

Do you ever catch yourself overthinking until your mind feels louder than your life? 🧠💭

Overthinking pulls you into endless “what ifs” and future worries — but most of them never happen. It steals today’s peace for tomorrow’s problems.

Here are 3 ways to shift your headspace when your mind won’t switch off:

✨ Ask yourself: “What’s true right now?”
Instead of spinning in “what if” stories, anchor yourself to facts. This breaks the loop of imagined scenarios.

☁️ Let your thoughts drift away like clouds
Close your eyes. Imagine each thought as a cloud in the sky. Watch it float past instead of clinging to it. The mind softens when you stop holding on.

🌿 Use the 5-4-3-2-1 grounding technique

5 things you can see 👀

4 things you can feel ✋

3 things you can hear 👂

2 things you can smell 👃

1 thing you can taste 👅

This pulls you back into the present moment and out of your head.
