A huge thank you to Fazakerley Community Federation & Library for inviting us along to their Christmas Dinner held at Aintree Racecourse.

It was amazing to see so many people enjoying their time and recognising so many who also attend our sessions at this amazing place and community.

Once again a huge thank you to Fazakerley Federation for having us it is extremely appreciated.

Yesterday our very own Walking Football team competed in another football tournament at LCFA Sefton. ⚽️

The ATF Foxes 🦊 played very well and have come a long way from the previous sessions and it is amazing to see.

ATF are looking for a new manager for the new 2025/26 season are looking for a new manager for the new 2025/26 season! ⚽

After a great season in the Merseyrail Business Houses League Division 4 were promoted and will be playing in Division 3 next season. Throughout last season Fazakerley were a very competitive side in all competitions and also won the Fair Play Award in the Merseyrail Business Houses League. 🏆

We are proud to see our football flagship session thriving as they have finished another season in Merseyrail Business Houses League.

After a great season and being promoted Fazakerley Rangers FC were also presented with the Fair Play Award for the 2024-25 Season👏 , this is a proud achievement and everyone from Active Through Football would like to say a huge congratulations and we are wishing them all the best for the new season 🙌

Another exciting week for ATF

On Monday we were joined by colleagues from across the project and the team at Leeds Beckett University to look at the impacts the project has had so far.

Wednesday was a great session as the women’s walking football group celebrated 1 year since they started

And on Thursday we didn’t let the weather beat us as we played a game of seated badminton at the lunch club.
